Football Multi Bet: $10.41 Tip for Wednesday

Football Multi Bet
I’ve put together a Champions League quarter-final football multi bet for Wednesday morning, and I see attacking pedigree across both fixtures. Real Madrid host Bayern Munich while Arsenal head to Lisbon. Three selections push our potential returns past 10x – a solid way to start the week.

Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich
Wednesday April 8, 8:00am NZT, Estadio Bernabeu
I’m doubling up on this fixture – Real Madrid to win and over 3.5 goals. Bear with me.
Bayern have scored 100 Bundesliga goals in 28 matches this season. Harry Kane missed the Freiburg win on Saturday with an ankle problem picked up on England duty, but Vincent Kompany said he’s “rather positive” about his striker being fit. Without Kane, Bayern came from 2-0 down at Freiburg – Tom Bischof scoring twice before Lennart Karl bundled home a 99th-minute winner.
Madrid are different at home in Europe. They dispatched Manchester City 5-1 on aggregate in the last 16, and Kylian Mbappe leads the Champions League scoring charts with 13 goals. He’s back from a three-month knee problem and started against Mallorca, declared fully fit by Arbeloa. That 2-1 loss stung – a stoppage-time winner – but it won’t dampen the mood at the Bernabeu for this one.
Madrid are short up front though. Rodrygo tore his ACL in March and is gone for the season. Thibaut Courtois is out with a thigh issue too. Bayern will create chances against this depleted squad. But with Mbappe and Vinicius Junior at their sharpest, I’m backing Madrid at $2.10 on football betting sites – and with that much attacking talent between the two sides, four goals is very much on the cards. Over 3.5 at $2.75 looks like value.
Sporting CP vs Arsenal
Wednesday April 8, 8:00am NZT, Estadio Jose Alvalade
Arsenal have lost back-to-back cup matches – the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City, then an FA Cup exit at Southampton. Shea Charles’ 85th-minute winner did the damage at St Mary’s. It’s safe to say Mikel Arteta needs a result.
I actually think the Champions League is where Arsenal reset. They topped the league phase, beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-1 on aggregate in the round of 16, and Arteta’s squad raises its level on European nights. Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka missed the Southampton game but are expected back. Viktor Gyokeres returns to face his old club for the first time since moving to north London last summer.
Sporting came back from 3-0 down against Bodo/Glimt to win 5-0 at home in extra time – some turnaround. Rui Borges’ side are second in the Primeira Liga and beat Santa Clara 4-2 last time out. But they’re without Nuno Santos after a thigh injury, and Fotis Ioannidis is ruled out too.
Arsenal won 5-1 at this ground in last season’s league phase. Sporting have won just two of 13 against English opposition. I’m taking the away win at $1.80 to close out this best betting sites NZ multi.
