Multi Bet Tip

Bayern Munich vs Auckland City

Monday June 16, 4am NZT, TQL Stadium

This is a true mismatch on paper. On one side stands as an amateur outfit whose players juggle day jobs alongside football. The other is a European titan with a history of domestic dominance and six continental crowns to their name.

You don’t need to check betting apps to figure out that Bayern are the clear favourites to win this match. We all love upsets, but with the data in hand, there is no reason to believe that Auckland City would be able to avoid a thrashing on Monday morning.

Back Bayern Munich to cover a -4.5 handicap on PlayUp and cash in a $1.92 return.

PSG vs Atletico Madrid

Monday June 16, 7am NZT, Rose Bowl

PSG vs Atletico Madrid is one of the few blockbuster encounters we get to see in the group stages of the tournament. The Parisians are the new kings of Europe after thrashing Inter Milan at Allianz Arena earlier this month, but Atletico did beat them when the sides met last November.

Unsurprisingly, the odds are quite close across football betting sites as two of Europe’s best teams are set to lock horns in this battle. This could swing either way, but we believe the attacking symphony PSG showed in the latter stages of their Champions League campaign should be enough to get the better of Roji Blancos.

Palmeiras vs Porto

Monday June 16, 10am NZT, MetLife Stadium

This should be another delightful battle between two elite sides. Three-time Copa Libertadores champions Palmeiras lock horns with two-time European champions Porto in a Group A affair at MetLife Stadium.

The Portuguese side, however, have not been at their best lately. Porto have finished outside the top two in the Portuguese top-flight once again, which is a massive underachievement given their standards. Palmeiras, on the other hand, took the Brazilian Serie A trophy home twice in the last three years.

There’s little to separate the two sides at this stage. With this likely being the toughest fixture of the group, both teams are expected to approach it with caution. A draw, therefore, looks like a sensible prediction to round out our football multi bet.
