Chelsea vs Los Angeles FC

Tuesday June 17, 7am NZT, Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Chelsea and LAFC will meet for the first time in history as they begin their FIFA Club World Cup campaign at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Tuesday morning NZT. The Blues, who recently won the Conference League and finished top four in the Premier League, are expected to bag the full points.

LAFC came in as a last-minute entry to the tournament after Club Leon was disqualified over multi-ownership issues. We have seen a lot of goals in recent LAFC matches. While Chelsea have improved their defence significantly in recent games, they are not immune to defensive slip-ups.

So, we expect both teams to score, with Chelsea having the last laugh. Top football sports betting platforms like PlayUp are offering an excellent price for this market.

Boca Juniors vs Benfica

Tuesday June 17, 10am NZT, Hard Rock Stadium

Boca Juniors, once the stomping ground of the great Diego Maradona, will kick off their Club World Cup mission against Portuguese giants Benfica at the Hard Rock Stadium. The Argentinian powerhouse, now spearheaded by Uruguayan legend Edinson Cavani, have a storied legacy in international football, but they are the underdogs in this clash across betting apps

Boca have an ageing squad that will likely find it difficult to cope with the agility of the Benfica team. The Eagles narrowly missed out on the Liga Portugal title last season, but they are the favourites to get their Club World Cup campaign to a winning start against the 35-time Argentinian champions.

Back Benfica to cover a -1.5 spread on this one.

Flamengo vs ES Tunis

Tuesday June 17, 1pm NZT, Hard Rock Stadium

After a strong start to their Brazil Serie A season, Flamengo put their domestic campaign on hold to feature in the Club World Cup. Their first assignment is a group stage face-off with record Tunisian champions Esperance Sportive de Tunis.

Flamengo have battled-hardened veterans like Alex Sandro and Jorginho who have performed at the top level of European football. The Brazilian side, who are currently leading the Serie A standings, should be too hot to handle for ES Tunis and we expect them to cover a -1 handicap.
