Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace seem back in control after a four match winless run in October. They have now gone unbeaten in five matches, with four wins and a draw. Goals from Daniel Munoz and Yeremi Pino got them a win at Molineux. Now, they will look to build on that at home with a statement win against Manchester United.
Football sports betting sites have labelled Palace the favourites against the Red Devils on Monday. Palace are yet to taste defeat on home soil this season, but they have only won two home matches so far. Oliver Glasner will hope to improve that record against a Manchester United side that won only once on the road this season.
Team News: Cheick Doucoure (knee) and Caleb Kporha (back) will not be available for selection once again.
Predicted Lineup: Henderson; Richards, Lacroix, Guehi; Munoz, Kamada, Wharton, Mitchell; Sarr, Pino; Mateta.
Manchester United
Manchester United seemed to have steadied the ship after a rocky start. They were nicely working their way toward a top four position before recent setbacks against Nottingham Forest and Everton have led critics to question their credentials once again.
United now return to a venue where they had lost 4-0 last year. Most of United’s success this season has come at Old Trafford. So, Amorim’s men face an uphill battle to arrest the slump next week.
Team News: Benjamin Sesko is still struggling with his knee injury and is likely to miss the trip.
Predicted Lineup: Lammens; Yoro, De Ligt, Shaw; Mazraoui, Casemiro, Fernandes, Dorgu; Mbeumo, Diallo; Zirkzee.
