Football Multi Bet: $10.33 Tip for Saturday

Football Multi Bet
I’ve been combing through the raft of international friendlies this Saturday NZT, and there’s a combination here I can’t ignore for my football multi bet. Two of the three are heavy favourites at home, while the third is the value play - a side with outrageous recent form that nobody seems to be pricing correctly. Combined odds sit just above 10x on NZ betting sites.

England vs Uruguay
Saturday March 28, 8:45am NZT, Wembley Stadium
I like England a lot in this one. They won all eight World Cup qualifiers without conceding a single goal, and Harry Kane bagged eight in eight during that run. Kane won’t be involved here - he’s one of 11 players, including Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice, who don’t join the squad until after this game.
But their depth is ridiculous. Harvey Barnes, Kobbie Mainoo and James Garner all come in, in what feels like an audition at Wembley.
Uruguay, meanwhile, are a mess. They got taken apart 5-1 by the USA in November, and their qualifying campaign was a grind too. At $1.70 on football betting sites, England at home gets this multi moving.
Netherlands vs Norway
Saturday March 28, 8:45am NZT, Johan Cruijff Arena
Here’s where we earn our money. Norway won all eight World Cup qualifiers, Erling Haaland scored 16 goals across the campaign, and they sealed qualification by thumping Italy 4-1 in Milan. This is their first World Cup since 1998, and I’ve rarely seen a side carry this much momentum into a friendly window.
The Netherlands are at home and topped their own qualifying group, but Noa Lang is out after hand surgery. Of course, Martin Odegaard won’t be there for Norway either - he’s still nursing that knee - so both sides have gaps. I still fancy Norway to nick it. At $4.35 on betting apps, it’s the pick that makes this multi worth placing.
Argentina vs Mauritania
Saturday March 28, 12:15pm NZT, La Bombonera
Here’s our banker. Argentina sit second in the FIFA rankings, Mauritania are 115th. Lionel Scaloni has gone full strength - Lionel Messi, Julian Alvarez, Enzo Fernandez, Emiliano Martinez all in the squad. This could be Messi’s last match on Argentine soil before the World Cup, and La Bombonera will be packed.
Mauritania haven’t won in five, and their recent results include a 4-0 hammering by Senegal. I can’t see any way they survive here. It’s short at $1.40 on new betting sites, but paired with Norway and England, it anchors this multi at over 10x and gives us a solid foundation for the weekend.
