PSG
Chaotic would be an understatement to describe PSG’s last Champions League outing. Nine goals, two penalties, two red cards - not even the most experienced football betting enthusiast had seen that coming.
PSG had put Barcelona to the sword earlier at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys - even without several key players. They are also at the top of the Ligue 1 standings, as expected, with a two point lead over Marseille.
Luis Enrique’s side did appear to have lost some steam in recent weeks. They have managed to win only three of their last six matches. The alarm bells shouldn't be ringing at Parc des Princes by any means, but for a team of PSG's calibre, that's a poor return.
Team News: Fabian Ruiz and Joao Neves are out with muscle injuries.
Predicted Lineup: Chevalier; Hakimi, Zabarnyi, Pacho, Mendes; Zaire-Emery, Vitinha; Mayulu, Kvaratskhelia, Doue, Barcola.
Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich are dominating the Bundesliga - that’s nothing new for sure. The way they have been doing it this season, however, deserves recognition. Nine games, 34 goals with only four conceded - Vincent Kompany’s side have destroyed everyone that has come their way so far.
Sports betting apps also considered the Bavarians favourites for Champions League glory this season. So far, they have been dominant in Europe as well, with 13 goals scored across three matches with only two conceded.
Bayern have netted three or more goals in 13 of their last 14 matches – the only exception being a 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the recent Der Klassiker.
Team News: Hiroki Ito has been struggling with a foot injury lately. The centre-back might not be able to make the mid-week trip to Paris.
Predicted Lineup: Neuer, Guerreiro, Upamecano, Tah, Laimer; Kimmich, Pavlovic, Olise, Karl, Diaz; Kane.
