Football Multi Bet

I’ve been digging through the stats for the first round of 2026 and found a cracker of a multi. There is some serious profit to be made on NZ betting sites if these results land as expected. I’m focusing on three matches where the momentum is shifted heavily in one direction, and I’m confident we can start the year well with this football multi bet.

Multi Bet Tip

Crystal Palace vs Fulham

Friday January 2, 6:30am NZT, Selhurst Park

Palace at home is always a tough gig for any visiting team, even if the hosts are languishing mid-table at the moment. They’ve managed to turn Selhurst Park into a real fortress lately - not always winning, but certainly making their opponents earn it. In this case, I reckon they’ll have enough to edge past Fulham.

Fulham have been tidy, but they often lack that bit of physical presence needed to survive a battle in South London. I’m looking at the match-up between the Palace wingers and Fulham’s full-backs in particular, and think that could be the deciding factor.

If the home side can get their wide men isolated, it’s going to be a long morning for the visitors. I’m backing a narrow home win here to kick off our multi.

Liverpool vs Leeds

Friday January 2, 6:30am NZT, Anfield

Anfield on a Friday morning sounds like a recipe for goals. Liverpool are obviously massive favourites, but they’ve had a habit of switching off at the back this season. They particularly have been susceptible to teams that aren’t afraid to have a go, and Leeds fit that bill perfectly.

Leeds will play high, press, and probably get caught out. But, I’d be surprised if they didn’t nick a goal in the process.

Looking at recent form, I’m confident Liverpool will outscore whatever they let in. My football betting tips focus on the home win but with both teams finding the net. Leeds have enough quality to cause a few headaches, but the sheer volume of Liverpool attacks should eventually pay off.

Brentford vs Tottenham

Friday January 2, 9:00am NZT, Gtech Community Stadium

Brentford are a nightmare to play against at the Gtech Community Stadium. However, Tottenham seem to have found a bit of steel under pressure recently. They’re much better at weathering the storm and hitting teams on the counter. With the pace they have up top, they can punish Brentford if the home side over-commits.

I’ve checked a few betting sites in NZ and the price for an away win feels like good value, priced at $2.10 by 20Bet. Brentford’s defensive stats have dipped slightly in their last few matches, and they’ve looked vulnerable to set pieces.

I think Tottenham’s height and clinical finishing will be the difference in a tight one. I’m taking the visitors to wrap up this multi.
