Football Multi Bet: $11.22 Tip for Wednesday

Wednesday’s Premier League fixtures are perfect for a football multi bet, and I’ve found three legs I reckon can make us bank. There’s a nice mix here of short-priced favourites and one juicier selection that boosts the overall return on betting sites NZ.

Multi Bet Tip

Everton vs Burnley

Wednesday March 4, 8:30am NZT, Hill Dickinson Stadium

Everton just pulled off an impressive 3-2 win at Newcastle, and should carry that momentum into this clash. They sit eighth on the table with 40 points from 28 games, while Burnley are stuck in 19th with just 19 points and only four wins all season.

Burnley’s away record is grim. They’ve won just once in their last six on the road, conceding 10 goals in those matches. That means Everton won’t even need to be at their best to get through this one.

Beto’s been sharp up top, and I’d expect him to cause problems against a Burnley defence that’s leaked 52 goals this campaign. A home win feels like the safest leg of this multi.

Bournemouth vs Brentford

Wednesday March 4, 8:30am NZT, Vitality Stadium

Brentford are seventh with 43 points and have been brilliant on the road, winning five of their last six away games in the league. Their 4-3 thriller at Burnley last weekend showed they’ve got no shortage of goals in them, with Igor Thiago leading the line on 18 goals for the season.

Bournemouth are unbeaten in seven but they’ve drawn four of those. Their defence has been leaky, conceding in eight of their last 10 home matches. Brentford have dominated the head-to-head, winning five of the last seven meetings.

I think this one will be open, with both sides contributing to the scoreline, but Brentford’s away form and attacking firepower should see them pinch it. The best betting apps will have enhanced odds on selections like this, so shop around.

Wolves vs Liverpool

Wednesday March 4, 9:15am NZT, Molineux

Wolves are dead last with two wins and 13 points from 28 games. Liverpool have won four of their last five, including a 5-2 demolition of West Ham over the weekend. The head-to-head is completely one-sided too, with Liverpool winning all five of their most recent meetings.

Hugo Ekitike has 11 league goals this season and should fancy his chances against the worst defence in the division. Wolves have scored just 0.9 goals per game this term and even though they just pulled off an upset over Villa, I can’t see them doing the same against Liverpool.

In fact, that Villa result actually blew up Liverpool’s odds more than they should be $1.50 for the visitors is a great punt. My football tips for this one are simple: take the away win and move on.
