Football Multi Bet: $10.26 Tip for Sunday

There’s a packed Sunday morning of Premier League action for New Zealand punters and I’ve built a football multi bet that could return just over 10x. There are three matches where form and momentum make a pretty clear bet, with a couple of goals markets tacked on to push the price up. Think Arsenal at home, Chelsea looking clinical, and City doing what City do.

Sunday March 15, 6:30am NZT, Emirates Stadium

Arsenal at $1.35 to win isn’t worth the space on your slip, so I’ve added over 2.5 goals to bring the return closer to evens at $1.80. 

The Gunners have won five of their last seven league matches and scored three or more in three of those. Everton have nabbed back-to-back wins against Burnley and Newcastle, but the former are prime relegation candidates and the latter are in absolute shambles. Arsenal at the Emirates is a completely different kettle of fish. 

I expect the league leaders to control this from the first whistle and put at least two away themselves.

Sunday March 15, 6:30am NZT, Stamford Bridge

Five defeats in seven. That’s Newcastle’s recent league form, with their only wins across that stretch coming vs Spurs and at home to Man United. 

Chelsea have been inspired since their 4-1 demolition at Villa Park, winning five of their last eight. Cole Palmer is on fire. 

With Newcastle’s confidence shot and their away form even worse, $1.90 for a Chelsea win feels like the most straightforward of my football betting tips today. 

Sunday March 15, 9:00am NZT, London Stadium

I’m just going with my gut on this one. City have won five of their last seven and scored 14 goals doing it, but they’ve been leaky at the back. They conceded against Liverpool, Spurs, Newcastle and Forest across that run. 

West Ham are 18th and scrapping for survival, yet scored twice at Chelsea and put two past Liverpool in defeat. I’m not doubting that City win, but I’m high on West Ham getting one on the sheet themselves.
