Multi Bet Tip

Brentford vs Bournemouth

Sunday December 28, 4:00am NZT, Gtech Community Stadium

Brentford back at home usually guarantees entertainment. The side are playing with real aggression at the Gtech, and they always fancy their chances against those around them in the table. They’ve been scoring heaps lately but can’t seem to keep a clean sheet to save themselves.

Bournemouth are in a similar boat. They love to get forward and have some genuine pace on the wings that will trouble Brentford’s high line. Neither of these defences fills me with confidence, which is perfect for football betting. I reckon both keepers will be busy, so I’m backing both teams to find the net in what should be a fairly open game.

Burnley vs Everton

Sunday December 28, 4:00am NZT, Turf Moor

This one has the makings of a proper scrap. Burnley are fighting for every point at Turf Moor, but they’ve looked a bit toothless in front of goal recently. They work hard, yet hard work doesn’t always put the ball in the net.

Everton, on the other hand, seem to have turned a corner. They’re grinding out results and looking much more organised at the back. Sean Dyche returning to his old stomping ground adds a bit of spice, and I think he’ll know exactly how to set up to frustrate the hosts.

The Toffees have the edge in quality and experience, so I’m backing the visitors to nick a narrow win in a tight, low-scoring affair.

Sunderland vs Leeds

Monday December 29, 3:00am NZT, Stadium of Light

I’ve thrown this Monday morning clash into the mix because it’s too good to ignore. Sunderland have done well since coming up, making the Stadium of Light a tough place to go. However, they’ve wobbled a bit in recent weeks on the road and are struggling to break down organised defences.

Leeds look like the real deal this season. They’re flying high and scoring goals for fun. Their attack is frightening when it clicks, and I don’t think Sunderland’s back line will be able to cope with the movement and pace Leeds bring to the table.

Checking the betting apps, the price on an away win looks generous. I reckon Leeds will have too much quality and will take all three points back to Yorkshire.
