Wolves vs Everton

Sunday August 31, 2:00am NZT, Molineux Stadium

Wolves are back at Molineux on August 30, looking to turn the tide following a rough opening to the 2025–26 Premier League season. They have lost to Manchester City and Bournemouth in their opening two games, and failed to find the back of the net on both occasions. However, you don’t need to chase betting bonuses to find appealing odds to back either team in this match.

Everton come to this match after a revitalising win against Brighton. But deeper issues remain in the squad. Vitaliy Mykolenko and Jarrad Branthwaite are still out, and we have seen how vulnerable it makes the Toffees to counter-attacks.

Wolves might be able to take advantage of the situation in front of their home crowd and pick up a much-needed win against Everton. Jordan Pickford is excellent on goal for Everton, but as we saw in the Leeds match, he can’t bail out David Moyes’ men all the time.

Leeds United vs Newcastle

Sunday August 31, 4:30am NZT, Elland Road

Leeds were given a harsh reality check by Arsenal at the Emirates last weekend. They return to Elland Road this week, where they picked up an impressive 1-0 win against Everton in their first match. But, as the odds across legal betting sites suggest, hosting Newcastle is not going to be a walk in the park.

As things stand, Alexander Isak is set to stay put once again as he eyes a move away from the Magpies. Newcastle, however, should still have enough firepower to hurt Leeds. They were wasteful against Aston Villa in the first match, but showed great fighting spirit to score twice against Liverpool with a man down.

We predict Newcastle will be able to walk away with the win in this one.

Manchester United vs Burnley

Sunday August 31, 2:00am NZT, Old Trafford

Ruben Amorim must have circled this match as a must-win, but the Red Devils have not been particularly convincing heading into this tie. There was plenty of flair in their performance against Arsenal, but it resulted in a 1-0 loss. Against Fulham, they rarely threatened and had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Burnley have been quite unpredictable so far as well. Scott Parker’s side lost 3-0 to Spurs, but bounced back with a 2-0 win against Sunderland. None of these two defences seem settled, so we are putting our money on both teams to score.
