Renard took some time to steady the ship, but after his first four matches in charge, the Saudis have been in excellent form. They came to the World Cup with only one loss in their previous five games, and an opening win against Haiti has continued their momentum heading into this match. 

Saudi Arabia are the underdogs across football betting sites for this game, but they won’t be short on confidence coming into this one.

Team News: Saudi Arabia suffered a big blow in the Haiti game when Hassan Kadesh limped off the pitch. The Falcons captain could be out for a few weeks, meaning Abdullah Madu could come into the starting XI to accompany Abdulelah Al-Amri at the heart of the defence.

The USA entered the Gold Cup on the back of a disappointing four-game losing streak, with losses to Panama (1-0), Canada (2-1), Turkey (2-1), and Switzerland (4-0). 

Christian Pulisic’s decision to take the summer off was a major blow for the USA ahead of the tournament, but they brushed aside the negativity with a commanding opening-day victory.

Team News: Pochettino is likely to field an unchanged squad after his team’s turbo-charged performance against Trinidad and Tobago.
