UEFA Women’s Euro 2025: Spain vs Switzerland - Betting Tips, Odds & Prediction

World champions Spain are in pursuit of continental glory in Switzerland this summer. The home team poses their first knockout challenge in the 2025 UEFA Women’s Euro at Wankdorf Stadium on Saturday.

Switzerland put up a good fight against Norway in the group stages, and did what they needed to do in the remaining matches to get here. But, based on what we have seen so far, Spain will be a much harder challenge to overcome. 

Spain have equalled England’s record for scoring the most group stage goals in a Women’s Euro campaign by putting 14 goals past the opposition keepers so far. The team’s top scorer, Esther Gonzalez, might not be able to make it to the matchday squad for this match, but Spain still has enough firepower in their team to sink the Swiss ship. 

It’s hard to imagine Spain not winning this by a significant margin. Expect them to prevail by at least three goals, though Switzerland may be able to grab a consolation goal or two.

It will be suicidal if Switzerland tries to match Spain’s fluid playing style. Instead, they should go for a counter-attacking approach and try to limit Spain’s threats on the flanks. But Spain have too much quality in the middle, and even without Gonzalez, they should be able to score four against this Switzerland side. However, we expect the hosts to pull one back and make the scoreline 4-1. With odds of $13.00 at 20Bet, we like the upside of this punt.
