This week’s mid-week football action brings another exciting opportunity for Kiwi football punters. The Champions League is back with a mouthwatering list of fixtures. Here’s our multibet recommendation for Wednesday’s UCL matches.

Multi Bet Tip

Napoli vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Wednesday November 6, 6:45am NZT, Stadio Diego Armando Maradona

Both sides come into this one needing to restore some pride after horror shows in their last Champions League matches. Napoli conceded six in a 6-2 loss to PSV Eindhoven, while Frankfurt were blown away 5-1 by Liverpool.

Pertonepei recovered from their unfortunate trip to the Netherlands with an incredible win against Serie A rivals Inter Milan. They are also unbeaten at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona this season.

All three of Frankfurt’s Champions League matches have ended 5-1 this season - the Eagles were the losing side in two of those games.

The first of our football betting tips for today’s multi combo is a Napoli win with both teams to score.

Atletico Madrid vs Union Saint-Gilloise

Wednesday November 6, 9:00am NZT, Riyadh Air Metropolitano

Atletico Madrid are licking their wounds after a heavy 4-0 defeat at Arsenal last time around. They have the perfect opportunity to get their Champions League campaign back with a home match against Union Saint-Gilloise.

The Belgian champions made a flying start with a win against PSV. Back-to-back 4-0 defeats to Newcastle United and Inter Milan brought them crashing down to earth, and now they face a daunting trip to Metropolitano.

Julian Alvarez has been Atletico's biggest attacking threat this season with eight goals across all competitions. The Argentinian is heavily fancied to score across NZ betting apps. He’s a nice, low-risk pick for this week’s multi.

Bodo/Glimt vs Monaco

Wednesday November 6, 9:00am NZT, Aspmyra Stadion

Bodo/Glimt and Monaco meet on Wednesday morning, with both teams desperate to end their winless run in the Champions League. Both sides have two points to show for their first two outings. Monaco drew goalless against Tottenham in their previous match, while Bodo/Glimt lost 3-1 to Galatasaray.

The Norwegians have been a threat going forward, but defensively, they failed to impress. Bood/Glimt conceded seven times in three UCL outings - great news for a Monaco side that scored six goals in their last three Ligue 1 matches.

A Monaco win isn’t the safest bet on football at this moment, but we see genuine potential for a Les Monégasques victory in this one. Given the odds offered by Sportaza, it’s the perfect way to round out Wednesday’s multi.
