Football Multi Bet

I’ve dug into the Champions League matches this Wednesday and I’m seeing some great betting value to be had this round. For those keen on a stab at New Zealand bookmakers, below are three matches where the form guide points toward one outcome. If you like football multis that pay 10x, then read on because I’ve got just the one for you.

Real Madrid vs Monaco

Wednesday January 21, 9:00am NZT, Santiago Bernabeu

Real Madrid at home in Europe is usually a safe bet, and I don’t think this morning will be any different. They’re in the mix at the top of the league and have Kylian Mbappe firing on all cylinders with nine goals already. It helps that they’ve been dominant at the Bernabeu all season, usually having games won before the break.

Monaco are a decent side, but they looked fragile in their recent loss to Club Brugge. I reckon they’ll struggle to keep up with the pace of the home side’s attack. That’s why to kick off today’s football tips, I’m backing a comfortable home win with plenty of goals.

Tottenham vs Borussia Dortmund

Wednesday January 21, 9:00am NZT, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Spurs are the definition of mercurial, but they seem to have found some stability lately. Still, they’re coming into this one needing a result to climb the table. In front of what will be a fiery home crowd, I’m tipping they’ll hang on to the ball and create loads of chances.

That said, Borussia Dortmund are a tough nut to crack. Tottenham will hope their patchy away form continues (they recently drew against Bodo/Glimt). I think there’s a good chance it will, as the intensity of the home crowd should rattle them. It’ll be close, but I’m picking the hosts to claim all three points.

Sporting CP vs Paris Saint-Germain

Wednesday January 21, 9:00am NZT, Estadio Jose Alvalade

Sporting CP have Luis Suarez in ridiculous form with 20 goals this season, so they’ll definitely cause a few headaches for PSG in this fixture. But Paris Saint-Germain are a quality side - they’ve won five of their six matches in the competition, with Vitinha in top form at the moment.

Apart from a minor slip-up against Bayern Munich, the visitors have looked like genuine contenders. I can see them weathering the early storm in Lisbon and then letting their class show. If you’ve got any free bets lying around, this away win is a great shout to finish our multi.
