Multi Bet Tip

Latvia vs Andorra

Sunday October 12, 1:00am NZT, Daugava Stadium

Latvia and Andorra will face off in the first match of the day at Daugava Stadium. ‘11 Vilki’ have not been terribly prolific lately, but odds on betting sites suggest this could be their best chance to turn things around.

Andorra are pointless after five rounds of play. They have been the Group K punching bags, and it seems likely that they will fall to another defeat on Sunday.

Latvia won the reverse fixture at Estadi Nacional by 1-0, and we think history will repeat itself.

Bulgaria vs Turkiye

Sunday October 12, 6:45am NZT, Vasil Levski National Stadium

Bulgaria welcome Turkiye to the Vasil Levski National Stadium on Sunday, still searching for their first win in seven games. The Lions have time to turn their Group E campaign around, and a vulnerable Turkiye side could provide the chance they need.

Turkiye were humbled 6-0 by Spain last time out, a bruising result, but Vincenzo Montella’s men will back themselves against a team that’s struggled just as much of late.

From a betting perspective, the individual scoring markets look interesting — and Arda Guler stands out as a strong pick. The 20-year-old has started brightly for Real Madrid, netting four goals already this season, and he’s added two more in his last four outings for Turkiye.

Backing Guler to score adds great value as the second leg of our football betting tips for this round of fixtures.

Portugal vs Ireland

Sunday October 12, 6:45am NZT, Estadio Jose Alvalade

The Selecao will aim to preserve their perfect Group F record on Sunday and are expected to stick with their trademark attacking style.

Ireland, meanwhile, were poor in a shock 2-1 defeat to Armenia. With Portugal in top form, it’s hard to imagine them taking much from this trip.

According to NZ betting apps, Portugal are heavy favourites, particularly as Cristiano Ronaldo is set to lead the line once again for the 2016 European champions.

Ireland’s defensive record doesn’t inspire much confidence either - Luxembourg are the only side they’ve kept out in their last eight games. Ronaldo, who has scored in five straight appearances for his country, looks a strong shout to open the scoring here.
