Football Multi Bet: $10.75 Tip for Thursday

Football Multi Bet
Things are a little dry this week until the World Cup Qualifiers kick off, so I’ve chucked together a multi on the Women’s Champions League quarter-final first legs for this Thursday morning. I’m not a regular tipper on women’s football, but with two huge ties in Madrid and Manchester, Barcelona looking to continue their demolition of Real Madrid, and a Man United team riding momentum at Old Trafford, there’s a good deal of betting to be had here. Read on for a look at my $10.75 football multi.

Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Thursday March 26, 6:45am NZT, Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano
I’m not going to overthink this one. Barcelona beat Real Madrid 4-0 in Liga F back in November and 2-0 in the Supercopa final in January. Then they went and did it again - 4-0 in the Copa de la Reina quarter-finals last month. That’s 10-0 across three meetings this season. I look at Barca’s Champions League numbers and it only gets worse for Madrid - five wins and a draw from six matches, 20 goals scored.
Real Madrid got through the play-offs by beating Paris FC 5-2 on aggregate, but I can’t see them living with Barcelona. Ewa Pajor has been a real threat, and Barca’s depth is ridiculous even without Aitana Bonmati, who’s been out since fracturing her fibula in November. At $1.40 on best betting sites, a Barca win anchors this multi.
Manchester United vs Bayern Munich
Thursday March 26, 9:00am NZT, Old Trafford
This is where the value is in this multi. Manchester United are in their first-ever Champions League quarter-final and they’re doing it at Old Trafford. They hammered Atletico Madrid 5-0 on aggregate in the play-offs and have kept eight clean sheets in 12 European matches this campaign.
Bayern arrive without Klara Buhl, who picked up a calf injury on international duty. She set a league phase record with eight assists and had nine goal contributions in total. That’s a massive loss.
My football betting tips are on United at $3.20 to win at home. Elisabeth Terland has 15 goals this season and Jess Park has been electric in midfield. Bayern went unbeaten across their final five league phase matches after that 7-1 hammering by Barcelona on Matchday 1, so I’m not pretending this is safe. But United are stubborn at the back and riding a wave right now.
Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Thursday March 26, 6:45am NZT, Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano
Back to the Clasico for the third leg of this multi. Three goals feels like a low bar when you consider Barcelona’s recent record against Real Madrid - 4-0, 2-0, 4-0 in their last three domestic meetings. Barca averaged over three goals per match in the league phase.
Real Madrid will need to have a go at some point to protect their home leg, which should open up gaps at the back. I checked betting apps and $2.40 for over 2.5 goals here looks like the best value in this accumulator.
