The beat of the Saturday racing from New Zealand comes from Te Repa.

In what is a fantastic day of racing, ahead of the first race we have run our eye through the card and picked out some of our best horse racing tips. As well as our exclusive tips we have highlighted three races which look to be the most competitive of the day. BEST BET – Aurora Belle

In the third race of the day Aurora Belle, could beat out Swiss Prince for the win. A winner here on debut five weeks ago. She has been drawn in Stall 1 and looks ideally placed. She is race ready and could be classy. We think she can win here.

THE DANGER – Swiss Prince

When it comes to form and class nobody in this line up can compare to Swiss Prince. The fear is that this will be his first start since January and there is a legitimate fitness concern. If ready to race he will take all the beating.

VALUE BET – Ocean Opal

Ocean Opal could be the value pick for the entire day. Yet to finish outside of the places in any of her four starts to date, she produced her best effort when winning last time out at Matamata. With experience on her side, she could be best placed to serve it up to Swiss Prince.

BEST BET – Little Bit of Love

In the fifth race of the day Little Bit of Love could take all of the stopping. Four of his seven career wins have come here and he has placed the last two times that he has raced here. He has been drawn well and should go well again.

THE DANGER – Jethro Tull

There are several dangers, but the one that stands out is Jethro Tull. A winner here twice, he is a reveller of the heavy conditions and conditions will be perfect for him here. He finished just behind Little Bit of Love when the pair last met, but there will be confidence that he can get the better of him here with conditions set to be perfect.

VALUE BET – Reward Smile

Reward Smile has amassed over 5 x the amount of prize money than his nearest competitior and there will be high hopes that he can win for the first time in six months. Having been tried at the very highest level, this is a massive drop down in class but he will need to sharpen up. His one and only run here saw him finish fourth and more will be needed to compete with the top two in the market.

The sixth race of the day is arguably the most competitive, but it is hard not to be drawn to Lotus. A significant class dropper here, she placed third in the Group 2 Travis Stakes two starts ago and anything close to a repeat of that will see her go close.

THE DANGER – What A Yarn

There are countless dangers in the field, but one horse who coud be worth siding with is What A Yarn. Craig Grylls takes the ride and the horse has won two out of his last four. He looks up to a race of this nature and is drawn to be up with the speed. He can’t be dismissed.

VALUE BET – Super Wraith

Our long shot of the day comes from Super Wraith. A winner last time out at long odds at Wanganui, he has landed the plum draw of one here and should be carried into the race. He lurks on a dangerous mark and although does have something to prove, he can’t be dismissed at all.
