THE DANGER – Speed Dial

Outside of Queen of Naples, several horses look to have plenty on their plate to make the frame. Of the best of the rest it could be Speed Dial who is worth paying attention to. She has made thirteen starts and has placed on five occasions. She knows how to contend and could give Queen of Naples something to think about.

VALUE BET – Revision

It’s taken a while for Revision to get the hang of things as in six starts she has only placed once, however that placed effort did come in her last race. The penny now might have dropped and at a price it could be worth taking a second look.

Our next best bet comes in the fifth race of the day where Vivacious is bound to be popular in the betting. A winner last time out, that was the third win of her career, and she arrives in good form. With plenty of horses needing to produce something special, its hard to look beyond her chances.

THE DANGER – Tossuforit

In a race where finding a consistent horse can be hard to find, Tossuforit could be one for the shortlist. She has placed five times in her last ten races and has two wins in her career. Whilst she may find one or two too good, she could be worth a small play.

VALUE BET – Justanace

Justanace has had fifty career runs and has posted six victories in his career. With two wins in his last five starts, he seems to be running as well as he ever has done and at a double figure price he looks massively overpriced.

Rule of Law loves it around Riccarton Park and has posted a third and second in each of his last two starts at the track. He has been knocking on the door lately and could finally barge through it here.

THE DANGER – Corps D’elite

Whereas Rule of Law hasn’t quite been able to post a victory in his most recent starts, Corps D’elite has been able to get that win on the board. Having made just five starts, he has one win, two second places and just outside the places on two occasions. He usually gives his running and should go close once again.

VALUE BET – Raghallaigh

Raghallaigh is our best long shot of the day and there could be a chance that he outruns his odds here. Having taken to the track on 31 times, he finally got off the mark with a win last time out, which came over the track. He clearly goes well here and could outrun his odds once again.
