Looking to get off the mark is Kyoshi Boy. Having just had one start in his career, he ran well to finish second and that experience could prove invaluable. If the penny has dropped, he could be a huge danger to all in the field.

VALUE BET – Hezzarocstar

Hezzarocstar could be the value play. Another with just one start, he finished third on debut and has form that ties in with Kyoshi Boy. If either of the top two fail to fire, he could well pick up the pieces.

Although the eighth race of the card has thirteen runners, Life of Riley will be popular with punters. Although she has just won one of her eight starts, she has been consistent of late with a third and second place finish in her last two starts. She takes a step down in class here and should give her running.

THE DANGER – The Boss Lady

If the Life of Riley looks vulnerable at the top of the market, then many punters might be attracted by The Boss Lady. Having been off track since April, there are fitness doubts, but she has placed in a higher grade of race than this and could be a class apart if fit enough.

VALUE BET – Ballistic Miss

Ballistic Miss could represent some value. A sixteen run veteran, she has proven form and class at this level. A winner two starts ago she arrives in decent form and could be a place threat.

BEST BET – Belle Du Monde

In the sixth race of the day, Belle Du Monde could be the punters choice. A winner of just one of her eight starts, she has raced in both Grade 1 and Grade 3 races. Although she didn’t place in any of those races, this is a big step down in class and could well yield a second career victory.

THE DANGER – Marokapa Falls

Marokapa Falls represents some top connections and is another who takes a drop down in class today. Having not won since her debut, this represents her best opportunity to get back inside the winner’s circle.

VALUE BET – Zahtar

Our long shot bet of the day is Zahtar. One of just a few horses that brings in winning form from her last start, this is tougher but there isn’t a reason to suggest that she won’t be able to follow that up here.
