NBA Expert Tips and Best Bets | March 3

Tuesday’s NBA matches are ripe for those who are looking to bet on NBA action this week. I’m looking at Wizards vs Rockets, Bucks vs Celtics and Warriors vs Clippers today, with a safe favourite and a riskier play at generous odds. Here are the bets I’d suggest locking in on NZ betting sites.

This one’s straightforward. Washington are 16-43 and on a four-game losing streak after getting demolished by the Hawks 126-96.

Houston sit at 37-22, with Kevin Durant averaging 26.2 points and hitting the 30-point mark five times in February. The Rockets won the first meeting 135-112. The odds are short, but it’s a solid base to kick off a multi, or just an easy way to build your bankroll.

Celtics -7.5 | $1.90 @ VipLuck

Giannis Antetokounmpo hasn’t played since late January due to a calf strain, and the Bucks are 11th in the East at 26-32. They’ve been competitive without him, but the Celtics are a different level of opposition.

Boston are 39-20 and have won four of their last five. They’ve managed to do so without Jayson Tatum, who’s been out all season with a torn Achilles. Jaylen Brown has stepped up massively, averaging 29.1 points a game, with Derrick White and Payton Pritchard providing strong support.

Milwaukee will lean on Rollins, Kyle Kuzma and Bobby Portis, but that’s not enough against this Boston side. Even on the road, the Celtics should handle this one. I’m backing them to cover the spread on the best betting apps.

Clippers ML | $2.20 @ Betandplay

Here’s my risky pick. Golden State are in a bad spot - Steph Curry has missed 10 straight with a knee injury and said it’ll be “a little longer” before he returns. Jimmy Butler is done for the year with a torn ACL, while Kristaps Porzingis has barely featured since his trade deadline arrival.

The Clippers aren’t world beaters at 27-31, and they’ll be on the second night of a back-to-back after facing the Pelicans. That’s a concern, but Kawhi Leonard was cleared to play on Sunday after sitting out last week with an ankle issue, and he averaged 29.3 points through 10 February appearances. Darius Garland is also reportedly set to make his Clippers debut, giving LA another shot creator.

Golden State are a mess without Curry. I like the Clippers at $2.20 on new betting sites like Betandplay.
