Best Bets 2025/2026

I’ve got three NBA Finals Game 2 picks on the best betting apps for Saturday afternoon here in NZ. The Spurs were sloppy in the opener and New York capitalised, but I’m predicting we’ll see a different performance from the home side this weekend.

San Antonio Spurs vs New York Knicks Best Bet: Spread

Spurs -5.5 | $1.90 @ Betandplay

San Antonio won’t shoot 36% from the field at home again. Victor Wembanyama went 6-of-21 in Game 1 and De’Aaron Fox was 3-of-13 - those two combining for 9-of-34 is as bad as it gets for the Spurs offensively.

Even so, they still led by 14 in the third quarter before New York surged back, outscoring San Antonio 29-19 in the fourth.

The Spurs are 32-8 at home this season and have only dropped consecutive games once during these playoffs. I’m taking San Antonio to bounce back, covering the 5.5 points on new betting sites.

San Antonio Spurs vs New York Knicks Best Bet: Total

Under 214.5 | $1.90 @ Betista

Game 1 finished 105-95 for a combined 200 points, well under the 218.5 total that was set for the opener. The line has dropped to 214.5 for Game 2, but I still think under is the right call.

New York held San Antonio to 25.6% from three-point range. The Spurs forced nine Knicks turnovers and were the better defensive team for three quarters before the wheels fell off. If San Antonio cleans up the 13 turnovers they coughed up in Game 1, that’s fewer transition opportunities for New York.

San Antonio Spurs vs New York Knicks Best Bet: Player Prop

Wembanyama over 25.5 points | $2.05 @ VipLuck

I think Wembanyama goes bigger in Game 2. He scored 26 in the opener despite his worst shooting night of the entire playoff run, as mentioned. What saved his scoring overall was the free throw line, where he went 12-of-13.

He averaged 27.3 points per game during the Conference Finals against OKC. At home with the series on the line, I’d expect more of the offence to go through him. His volume was there in Game 1 - 21 field goal attempts plus 13 free throws - and a more typical night from the floor gets him past this number.

You can get $2.05 on this through betting bonuses at VipLuck.
