Best Bets 2025/2026
I’m tipping three NBA plays for Saturday NZT across both Conference Semifinal Game 3s. Philadelphia’s home crowd might be the only thing that can turn a lopsided series around, and San Antonio’s Game 2 demolition of Minnesota has me looking at the Spurs through two different lenses for online NBA betting purposes.
Best Bets
| Tips | Odds |
| 76ers +6 vs Knicks | $2.05 @ Betandplay |
| Spurs -3.5 vs Timberwolves | $1.85 @ VipLuck |
| Under 216.5 Timberwolves vs Spurs | $1.90 @ Betista |
Philadelphia 76ers vs New York Knicks Best Bet
76ers +6 | $2.05 @ Betandplay
I think Philly keep this one tight. Joel Embiid’s status is the variable – he was ruled out for Game 2 with ankle and hip soreness, but the Sixers described him as day-to-day and a home Game 3 return would change the complexion of this series entirely.
Even without Embiid, Philadelphia only lost Game 2 by six. Tyrese Maxey scored 26 and Paul George 19.
The Sixers led at half before going cold in the fourth quarter. The Knicks also took a hit of their own – OG Anunoby picked up a right hamstring strain late in Game 2 and is listed as questionable. He’s been their second-leading scorer this postseason.
If Embiid plays and Anunoby doesn’t, the gap between these teams narrows fast. If you’ve got free bets to use, this is where I’d put them.
Minnesota Timberwolves vs San Antonio Spurs Best Bet
Spurs -3.5 | $1.85 @ VipLuck
I can’t ignore what San Antonio did in Game 2. The Spurs won 133-95, and it wasn’t even that close – they were up 47 at one point.
Victor Wembanyama had 19 points and 15 rebounds. Stephon Castle scored 21 off the bench and De’Aaron Fox needed just 24 minutes to put up 16.
Minnesota’s issues go beyond one bad game. Anthony Edwards is still coming off the bench with a left knee bone bruise, and his Game 2 line of 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting is a long way from the 28.8 per game he averaged in the regular season.
The series shifts to Target Center, but home advantage only does so much when your best player is hobbling. The Spurs were 62-20 in the regular season for a reason.
Minnesota Timberwolves vs San Antonio Spurs Total
Under 216.5 | $1.90 @ Betista
This is the pick I feel best about. Game 1 finished 104-102 – a total of 206.
Game 2’s 133-95 scoreline looks like it argues against an under, but context matters. San Antonio scored 133 because Minnesota turned the ball over 22 times, creating 19 points off turnovers and a cascade of transition buckets the Wolves won’t hand over again at home.
I’d expect something much closer to the Game 1 template here, where both teams ground through half-court possessions and the pace stayed controlled. Under 216.5 on NZ betting sites is the safest of my three picks.
