Best Bets 2025/2026
Wednesday’s NBA slate lands nicely for us in NZ, with three games I’ve had my eye on all week. There’s a blockbuster in San Antonio, a spread play in Miami, and a Suns moneyline in Milwaukee at a price I couldn’t ignore. Here’s where I’m putting my money across NBA betting sites this afternoon.
Best Bets
| Tips | Odds |
| Spurs -4.5 vs Celtics | $1.90 @ Betandplay |
| Heat -8.5 vs Wizards | $1.90 @ VipLuck |
| Suns ML vs Bucks | $2.10 @ Betista |
San Antonio Spurs vs Boston Celtics Best Bet
Spurs -4.5 | $1.90 @ Betandplay
Victor Wembanyama dropped 29 on Houston last game and looked like he barely got out of second gear. We’re talking nine of 13 from the field, four blocks, and the Spurs won by 25. They’ve won 15 of their last 16, and six players hit double figures against the Rockets with 38 assists as a team. These are not normal numbers.
Boston have plenty going for them, don’t get me wrong: they’re 8-2 in their last 10 and have Jayson Tatum back. But Tatum’s only two games into his comeback from a torn Achilles and is still finding his legs. Jaylen Brown’s been brilliant averaging 28.9 points, but I don’t see Boston matching the Spurs’ depth at home.
De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle give San Antonio so many weapons. You just can’t load up on Wembanyama when those two are running the floor. Give me the spread.
Miami Heat vs Washington Wizards Best Bet
Heat -8.5 | $1.90 @ VipLuck
I’ll be honest, this isn’t the most exciting tip I’ve ever written. Washington are 16-47. They’ve been dreadful all year and I don’t see what changes here. Miami have won five of their last six, and Tyler Herro had 25 in his most recent outing against Detroit. Plus Bam Adebayo just ticked over 10,000 career points. The Heat are locked in.
This spread of 8.5 feels like it should be bigger if anything. Miami beat Washington by 31 back in February and the Wizards have only gotten worse since. At home, the Heat should cruise.
Milwaukee Bucks vs Phoenix Suns Best Bet
Suns ML | $2.10 @ Betista
This one I’m less certain about, but the value’s pulled me in.
Milwaukee got smashed 91-130 by Orlando on Sunday after resting Giannis Antetokounmpo. He’s only played three games since returning from a 15-game absence with a calf strain and is still on a minutes cap. He’s gone 1-2 in those appearances, and the Bucks are 1-4 in their last five overall. Something feels broken there.
Phoenix have Devin Booker back and healthy, going 4-1 in their last five. Dillon Brooks has been one of the stories of the season for the Suns. Milwaukee at home doesn’t scare me the way it used to. At $2.10 on the best betting apps, I’ll take a punt on Phoenix.
