NRL 2026 Multi Bet of the Week – Round 2
Normality returns to the NRL in Round 2 with all eight games taking place in Australia (and New Zealand), and all across the four last days of the week. We saw some epic games in Round 1, including two Golden Point clashes. We are hoping for more of the same, and we think Round 2 can definitely deliver.

Sydney Roosters vs South Sydney Rabbitohs
March 13th, 22:00, Allianz Stadium
This shapes up to be the clash of the round. The Roosters and Rabbitohs do not like each other. They always play with an extra bit of venom in this matchup. Plus, Alex Johnson is so close to breaking Ken Irvine’s try-scoring record. He needs just one try to tie, and another to hold the record outright.
With so much to play for, it’s going to be an amazing atmosphere with a massive crowd. Latrell Mitchell had a massive game last time out, helping the Rabbitohs get a 40-30 win over the Dolphins. I expect him to get hyped up when facing his former club. This game just screams attack, and with attack comes points.
Take over 47.5 for total points @ NZ$1.90.
Wests Tigers vs North Queensland Cowboys
March 14th, 17:00, Leichardt Oval
The Tigers and Cowboys always seem to have epic clashes at Leichhardt Oval. I’m expecting another classic in this one, as the fans always come out in force to Leichhardt Oval. The Tigers had the bye in Round 1, so they will be extra fresh. But will the bye halt their momentum from the pre-season challenge?
On the Cowboys' side of things, they were disappointing against the Knights in Las Vegas. The Knights were on a massive losing streak, and the Cowboys were expected to win. They couldn’t produce the goods, though. I like the Tigers this year, and even think they can make the top eight. It all starts with a win in this one.
Take the Tigers to win @ NZ$1.54.
Manly Sea Eagles vs Newcastle Knights
March 15th, 18:05, 4 Pines Park
Wrapping things up with the Sea Eagles and Knights games. The Sea Eagles are playing at home once again and will be looking to please fans with a win after going down in Golden Point to the Raiders last time out. The Knights were impressive with their win over the Cowboys in Las Vegas.
I’m worried about the extended time off for the Knights, and if that win was just a fluke, or if they are a genuine contender this year. The Sea Eagles had their shaky moments in their last game as well, but the Knights only have a 22% win record here at 4 Pines Park. Giving the edge to the Sea Eagles.
Take the Sea Eagles to win @ NZ$1.52.
