NRL 2025 Round 15 – Betting Tips, Odds & Predictions

NRL 2025 Round 15
There are just five games this round, thanks to State of Origin Game II, which takes place next week. The Bulldogs got the job done over the Eels last game, so they remain at the top of the ladder, with 24 points. The Titans keep the wooden spoon for another week, on 10 points (the Eels also have 10 points, but have a slightly better points differential).
Round 15 awaits, so let’s get stuck into some 2025 NRL predictions for all the action!

Cronulla Sharks vs St. George Illawarra Dragons
Both teams are coming off very disappointing losses last round. The Sharks went down at home 10-40 to the Warriors and the Dolphins piled on 56 points to the Dragons six. Lots of changes are expected for both teams as well. KL Iro looks to be sidelined for the Sharks after a pectoral injury. However, they look set to welcome back Ronaldo Mulitalo to the fold. Toby Rudolf also might return as well, so keep an eye out for him.
For the Dragons, Christian Tuipulotu is out due to injury, with Tyrell Sloan looking likely to replace him. Valentine Holmes will also be out, due to Origin duties. While both teams have been inconsistent this season, the Sharks are the lesser of two evils. It wasn’t that long ago that people were singing the Sharks' praises. Now, they have two bad losses in a row and they really need a win to silence the haters, even just for a little bit.
Predicted Squads
Cronulla Sharks - Will Kennedy, Sione Katoa, Jesse Ramien, Mawene Hiroti, Ronaldo Mulitalo, Braydon Trindall, Nicho Hynes, Addin Fonua-Blake, Blayke Brailey, Oregon Kaufusi, Briton Nikora, Teig Wilton, Cameron McInnes, Daniel Atkinson, Jesse Colquhoun, Sifa Talakai & Braden Hamlin-Uele
St. George Illawarra Dragons - Clint Gutherson, Tyrell Sloan, Moses Suli, Nathan Lawson, Sione Finau, Lyhkan King-Togia, Kyle Flanagan, Jack de Belin, Damien Cook, David Klemmer, Luciano Leilua, Toby Couchman, Hamish Stewart, Jacob Liddle, Loko Pasifiki Tonga, Blake Lawrie & Emre Guler
Gold Coast Titans vs Manly Sea Eagles
The Titans are sitting at the bottom of the ladder and they welcome the Sea Eagles to Cbus Super Stadium on Friday. The home team come into this one riding a three-game losing streak and things don’t get much easier when they take on what looks to be an almost full-strength Sea Eagles side. The story of the week for the Sea Eagles is that Daly Cherry-Evans has been dropped from the Maroons.
This means he’ll line up for the Sea Eagles on Friday, plus Tom Trbojevic and Jason Saab are set to return. Meanwhile, the Titans will lose the likes of Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and Mo Fotuaika to Origin. The Sea Eagles let a 16-point halftime lead over the Knights disappear last time out. It would have been a terrible watch for Manly fans, but they should be able to right that wrong here against the bottom-of-the-table Titans.
Predicted Squads
Gold Coast Titans - AJ Brimson, Alofiana Khan-Pereira, Brian Kelly, Phillip Sami, Allan Fitzgibbon, Kieran Foran, Jayden Campbell, Jaimin Jolliffe, Sean Mullany, Reagan Campbell-Gillard, Klese Haas, Beau Fermor, Chris Randall, Tom Weaver, Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui, Jacob Alick-Wiencke & Arama Hau
Manly Sea Eagles - Tom Trbojevic, Jason Saab, Tolu Koula, Reuben Garrick, Tommy Talau, Luke Brooks, Daly Cherry-Evans, Ethan Bullemor, Lachlan Croker, Siosiua Taukeiaho, Haumole Olakau’atu, Ben Trbojevic, Jake Trbojevic, Jake Simpkin, Jazz Tevaga, Corey Waddell & Nathan Brown
Key NRL Betting Influencers - Round 15
A lot is happening this round, but here are the key factors that will most likely impact your bets:
- Both the Sharks and Dragons suffered bad losses last week. The Sharks look the team more capable of turning things around, especially considering they are at home and welcoming back Ronaldo Mulitalo.
- The Roosters were able to win without all their Origin starts a couple of weeks ago against the Sharks. Now, they come up against an inconsistent Knights team, I think the Roosters can get the job done again.
- The Cowboys have lost a host of players to Origin and injury. Look for the Dolphins to win this one and continue their perfect record at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

Newcastle Knights vs Sydney Roosters
An excellent comeback victory for the Knights last time out when many people, including myself, wrote them off. I had even turned the TV off only to check later on that the game was in Golden Point! For the Roosters, they had their feet up last time out, with the bye. Before their bye, they suffered a narrow two-point loss to the high-flying Raiders. The Knights are at home again for this game and they will be looking for back-to-back wins.
The last time the Roosters lost all their Origin players, they stunned the Sharks, winning 42-16. Can they do it again this round? On paper, the Knights look like an easier opponent, but you never really know which Knights team is going to show up. Kalyn Ponga is out for the Knights, but they do welcome back Bradman Best. The Roosters will be without the likes of Robert Toia, Lindsay Collins, Spencer Leniu, Connor Watson and Angus Crichton.
Predicted Squads
Newcastle Knights - Fletcher Sharpe, Fletcher Hunt, Dane Gagai, Bradman Best, Greg Marzhew, Jack Cogger, Jackson Hastings, Jacob Saifiti, Phoenix Crossland, Brodie Jones, Dylan Lucas, Kai Pearce-Paul, Mat Croker, Jayden Brailey, Thomas Cant, Jermaine McEwen & Elijah Salesa-Leaumoana
Sydney Roosters - James Tedesco, Daniel Tupou, Billy Smith, Mark Nawaqanitawase, Dom Young, Sandon Smith, Hugo Savala, Nat Butcher, Zach Dockar-Clay, Naufahu Whyte, Egan Butcher, Siua Wong, Victor Radley, Benaiah Ioelu, Salesi Foketi, Blake Steep & Makahesi Makatoa
North Queensland Cowboys vs Dolphins
Two Queensland teams will face off against each other on Saturday night when the Cowboys welcome the Dolphins to Queensland Country Bank Stadium. The headaches for Todd Payten only get worse this week as his team has only won one of their last five games and now they lose a host of players to Origin duties. The likes of Tom Dearden, Reece Robson, Jeremiah Nanai and Reuben Cotter are all unavailable.
The Dolphins have won three of their last four, including the last two in a row. Also, while they have only played at Queensland Country Bank Stadium twice, they have won on both occasions. They will lose Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow this week to Origin, but other than that, it looks like a strong line-up. The Dolphin's attack has been flying as of late, they piled on 44 points on the Bulldogs and then 56 points on the Dragons last time out.
Predicted Squads
North Queensland Cowboys - Scott Drinkwater, Robert Derby, Zac Laybutt, Murray Taulagi, Jaxson Paulo, Jaxon Purdue, Jake Clifford, Jordan McLean, Karl Lawton, Sam McIntyre, Kai O'Donnell, Coen Hess, Jason Taumalolo, Harrison Edwards, Griffin Neame, Thomas Mikaele & Kaiden Lahrs
Dolphins - Jake Averillo, Jamayne Isaako, Max Feagai, Herbie Farnworth, Jack Bostock, Kodi Nikorima, Isaiya Katoa, Francis Molo, Jeremy Marshall-King, Felise Kaufusi, Kulikefu Finefeuiaki, Oryn Keeley, Ray Stone, Kurt Donoghoe, Connelly Lemuelu, Mark Nicholls & Josh Kerr
South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Canterbury Bulldogs
In the final game of Round 15, we see the Rabbitohs up against the ladder-leading Bulldogs. The Rabbitohs will be desperate to get back into the winner’s circle after losing their last two games and they’ll have to do it without Latrell Mitchell, who departs for Origin duties. The two teams have already played once this season, in Round 7 the Bulldogs wiped the floor with the Rabbitohs, winning 32-0.
It was a dream start for the newly minted Bulldog, Lachlan Galvin, who scored a try coming off the bench last time out, to help his team seal a 30-12 win over the Eels. For this game, the Bulldogs will be without a host of Origin players, including Stephen Crichton, Matt Burton, Max King and Kurt Mann. The Rabbitohs are capable of winning without Mitchell, but he does bring a unique level of spark that just can’t be replicated.
Predicted Squads
South Sydney Rabbitohs - Jye Gray, Alex Johnston, Jack Wighton, Campbell Graham, Tyrone Munro, Jayden Sullivan, Jamie Humphreys, Jai Arrow, Siliva Havili, Keaon Koloamatangi, Euan Aitken, Tallis Duncan, Lachlan Hubner, Lewis Dodd, Sean Keppie, Liam Le Blanc & Tevita Tatola
Canterbury Bulldogs - Connor Tracey, Jacob Kiraz, Bronson Xerri, Blake Taaffe, Marcelo Montoya, Lachlan Galvin, Toby Sexton, Josh Curran, Reed Mahoney, Daniel Suluka-Fifita, Viliame Kikau, Jacob Preston, Bailey Hayward, Kurtis Morrin, Harry Hayes, Lipoi Hopoi & Sam Hughes
