Since moving away from last season’s well-balanced approach, Liverpool have become more chaotic and vulnerable to counters, which plays right into Forest’s hands. Morgan Gibbs-White seems to have rediscovered his last season form with back-to-back goals against Manchester United and Leeds. 

Still, only one of Liverpool’s five defeats has come at Anfield, so they’re a different beast at home (and they’ll feel they owe Forest one). 

Liverpool’s defensive form will give Forest hope, though. The Reds have looked shaky at the back all season and despite their strong home form, they have conceded one goal per match at Anfield on average so far. 

As things stand, we see this match ending in favour of Liverpool, but both teams should be able to find the back of the net.

Dyche’s teams are notoriously stubborn. While Forest are yet to such resilience, they have become more disciplined in defence. The strategy is likely going to be sitting deep and expecting to hit the home team on the counter.
