The best racing this Saturday in New Zealand comes from Te Repa where there is set to be nine exceptionally competitive races across the flat and the jumps.

With many horses in this race taking to the track for the first time, one of the most interestingly bred horses is Kusuda Rush. Set to be a speedy type, if he can get the hang of things, he could well be a winner on his debut.

Hot Card is another debutant in the race and many tipsters believe that he could be a real contender on debut. Another who has nice breeding, if he handles the track, he could be one at a price to take a second look at.

THE DANGER – Leitrim Lad

Leitrim Lad loves it around Te Repa with three of his thirteen wins coming at this track. A winner three starts ago, he is so versatile when it comes to distance, and he should really enjoy this trip. With Nedwin having questions to answer, Leitrim Lad looks like a fantastic alternative.

VALUE BET – Afterallthistime

Although the top two in the market look solid, Afterallthistime could be worth a second look. Although he has only won 13% of his starts, he usually gives his backers a decent run for their money, and he does boast a 42% place rate. He might find one or two too strong here but should be there or there abouts.

The KPMG Mile looks to be one of the most competitive races of the day and Witz End will have many backers. Boasting the best strike rate of the race by a mile he was only defeated by a length last time out. He takes a small step down in class here and could be dangerous.

THE DANGER – La Mezquita

La Mezquita was a winner two starts ago but found the conditions at Arawa Park last time out far too heavy. With conditions this Saturday meant to be better, she should find things much more to her liking. This race will be hard to win, but she looks to have a real chance of competing if handling the conditions.

VALUE BET – No Rain Ever

When it comes to making the top three in races nobody does it better in this race than No Rain Ever. Boasting a 63% place strike rate, she has three wins from her sixteen starts and although that isn’t prolific she looks to be priced on the large side.
