The seventh race of the day is one of the most competitive of Pukekohe’s Wednesday card. Without doubt the most interesting runner is Six Flags. The only horse in the lineup to bring in winning form, he looks well priced and with others arriving with questions to answer he looks to be the play.

THE DANGER – Muscovado

By the time the runners jump for the start of the contest it could be that Muscovado will start as the favourite. By no means a prolific winner, he has just one win from sixteen starts but does have four second place efforts. He usually gives his running and will hope to do so once again here.

VALUE BET – Deebee Bellfer

Deebee Bellfer could be the value play of the race. Vastly experienced with 25 runs under his belt, he has two thirds from his last three starts and could be there or there abouts once again.

The third race of Wednesday’s card is another tricky looking maiden and we are going to take a chance that Trianna will kick on from her debut run. THE DANGER – Florenza

Florenza is a six run maiden but has placed in the top three on three occasions. Usually she has bumped into one that has been too good, but her connections will hope that it could be her turn this time around.

VALUE BET – Blusweyhooves

Blusweyhooves looks to be the value angle of the entire race. She has made two starts and finished third last time out, showing significant improvement from her debut run. More could be unlocked here and she makes obvious appeal.
