If you are looking to back one at a price, then the pickings look slim – however Devil in Disguise could be worth chancing. A winner on his last start, that victory came at the track and distance and he can’t be discounted to follow that win up in this wide open contest.

THE DANGER – Forever Young

By the time the runners jump for the start of the contest it could be that Forever Young will start as the favourite. Looking for a victory for the first time in 29 starts, he has been running well of late with a second and third place finish in two of his last four starts.He usually gives his running and will hope to do so once again here.

VALUE BET – El Fuego

Looking to find a horse to pack that might upset the odds looks tricky, but one horse in with a fighting chance looks to be El Fuego. An inconsistent runner, he has four placed efforts in his seventeen career runs, if it’s a going day he could well land this race but if you back him you will be taking a slight leap of faith.
