VALUE BET – Innocent Victim

Innocent Victim is another big class dropper and he will be looking to land a fourth career success. A winner in this grade two starts ago, he certainly will feel at home and at a decent price he has to be the value pick of the race.

Tryptic is one of our best bets of the day, after a promising debut run she flattered to deceive last time out, finishing well down the field. She returns to a similar level as per her debut run and a bounceback can be expected. If you are willing to look past her last run, she could be in with a big shout.

THE DANGER – Chilling Out

When it comes to progressive horses, the one horse who makes obvious appeal is Chilling Out. She was third on debut and showed obvious signs of greeness. With that run now under her belt, an even better run could take place here.

VALUE BET – I Dunnet

I Dunnet is another who has just taken to the track and his connections will be encouraged by two consecutive third place efforts. He could be vulnerable to an improver but he has shown to be consistent at this level and he reflects some real value at his current price.

Shuffle The Pack could be the danger and looks to be at an attractive price. She ran her best race to date when finishing as the runner up last time out and she brings in some of the best recent form in the field. With conditions set to suit, another bold run can be anticipated.

VALUE BET – French Thinker

French Thinker is our long shot of the day. She is another who took a big step forward in her last run, bettering her two seventh place finishes with a third. The penny might be dropping and another leap forward could well happen here. She can’t be written off at her current price.
