Canterbury Bulldogs vs St. George Illawarra Dragons
March 1st, 15:15, Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas)
The Vegas games are always an interesting watch, so I had to include one of them in my three-leg multi! I’ll be playing it safe this time out, taking the Bulldogs to win. The Bulldogs finished in the top four last season, but were bundled out of the Finals in straight sets.
The Dragons finished down in 15th spot last season. The two teams played each other twice last season, and the Bulldogs won on both occasions. Also, the two teams have played each other 48 times in their history, with the Bulldogs winning on 31 occasions.
Take the Bulldogs to win @ NZ$1.33.
Brisbane Broncos vs. Penrith Panthers
March 6th, 22:00, Suncorp Stadium
I believe this is the match of the round, and we see two heavyweights do battle. The Broncos and Panthers were up against each other in the 2025 Preliminary Finals, with the Broncos just scraping by 16-14. That win ended the Panthers’ chances of winning five Premierships in a row.
This game will be played up in Brisbane, and we all know how rowdy the Brisbane crowd can get, especially late in the night! Even though Nathan Cleary has been cleared to play after avoiding suspension, I have to give this one to the Broncos. The team looks stable, and they know how to win from any situation.
Take the Broncos to cover the spread @ NZ$1.90.
Cronulla Sharks vs. Gold Coast Titans
March 7th, 19:30, Ocean Protect Stadium
Wrapping up the first NRL multi of the 2026 season with the clash between the Sharks and Titans. The Sharks finished the 2025 season very strongly, and they are playing at home (at the newly rebranded Ocean Protect Stadium). After beating the Roosters in the Elimination Final, they beat the Minor Premiers in the Semi Finals.
The Sharks ended up going down, 14-22, to the Storm in the Preliminary Finals. On the other hand, the Titans were a staple at the bottom of the ladder in 2025, and they ended up finishing 16th. This is a new season, and the Titans do have a new coach, but I think the Sharks look too strong for them.
Take the Sharks to win @ NZ$1.33.
