NRL 2025 Grand Final – Betting Tips, Odds & Predictions

NRL 2025 Grand Final
Just two teams remain. The Storm were able to get the job done over the Sharks last time out, in Melbourne. Meanwhile, the Broncos ended the four-time Premiers' stranglehold on the NRL, beating the Panthers 16-14 in a thriller. Both the Storm and Broncos have been in the Grand Final in the last couple of years, but have gone down to the Panthers. Who will finally get across the line here?
The finals series is reaching its crescendo, so let’s get stuck into some 2025 NRL predictions for all the action!
Melbourne Storm vs Brisbane Broncos
As long as you’re not a Panthers fan, I think most would be happy for something a little different this year in the Grand Final, even though the Storm were in the Grand Final last year, and the Broncos were there the year before that. The Storm beat the Sharks 22-14 to make the final, while the Broncos came from 0-14 down at half-time to win 16-14 over the Panthers.
The Storm look set to announce an unchanged side from their clash with the Sharks, as the likes of Jahrome Hughes and Ryan Papenhuyzen returned to help their team to victory. For the Broncos, Patrick Carrigan looks set to return, which will probably push Tyson Smoothy out. The two teams have played each other twice recently, with the Broncos winning 30-14 in Round 27 and the Storm winning 22-2 in Round 23.
Predicted Squads
Melbourne Storm - Ryan Papenhuyzen, Will Warbrick, Jack Howarth, Nick Meaney, Xavier Coates, Cameron Munster, Jahrome Hughes, Stefano Utoikamanu, Harry Grant, Josh King, Shawn Blore, Eli Katoa, Trent Loiero, Tyran Wishart, Ativalu Lisati, Tui Kamakimica & Alec MacDonald
Brisbane Broncos - Reece Walsh, Josiah Karapani, Kotoni Staggs, Gehamat Shibasaki, Deine Mariner, Ben Hunt, Adam Reynolds, Corey Jensen, Cory Paix, Payne Haas, Brendan Piakura, Jordan Riki, Patrick Carrigan, Ezra Mam, Kobe Hetherington, Xavier Willison & Tyson Smoothy
Key NRL Betting Influencers - Grand Final
A lot is going on for this Grand Final clash, but some key factors will play a sizable role in who wins this one:
- The Storm and Broncos have faced each other 59 times since 1998, and the Storm have dominated the matchup, winning on 43 occasions to the Broncos' 15.
- The Storm have a 65% win record here at Accor Stadium, while the Broncos have a 45% strike rate.
- Both teams look fairly settled in terms of personnel; however, the Broncos will welcome back Patrick Carrigan into the fold, which is a massive boost.
