Premier League: Arsenal vs Fulham - Betting Tips, Odds & Prediction

Premier League: Arsenal vs Fulham
Arsenal host Fulham at the Emirates on Sunday morning New Zealand time in a Premier League fixture sandwiched awkwardly between Champions League semi-final legs.
Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw at Atletico Madrid in the semi-final first leg on Wednesday and now have to turn around inside three days before Tuesday’s second leg in north London. Three points here are essential. Manchester City have a game in hand and trail by only three.
In this Arsenal vs Fulham preview, I dig into the rotation question and explain why I’m fancying a play for those keen to bet on football markets at better than evens.
Arsenal vs Fulham Analysis
Arsenal
Arsenal are top of the table with 73 points from 34 matches, three clear of Manchester City who have a game in hand. Best goal difference in the league. Fewest goals conceded. A new Premier League record of 17 corner goals. The numbers look great, but the vibe at the Emirates? Less so.
They’ve gone three home games with a single goal in each. Newcastle were poor last weekend and Arsenal still couldn’t put it away after Eberechi Eze’s ninth-minute screamer. The flow looks gone, even if the results don’t. That’s partly why I’m cool on the over.
What I do back is the defence. David Raya is on Golden Glove pace and the William Saliba-Gabriel partnership is arguably the best in Europe. Fulham didn’t manage a shot on target when these two met at Craven Cottage in October. Trossard bundled home Gabriel’s flick-on from a Saka corner, and that was the game.
Rotation is the obvious wrinkle. Arteta has Tuesday’s second leg in mind and a couple of fringe players will get minutes. But this isn’t a dead-rubber Carabao Cup tie. He won’t gut the side.
Team News: Havertz is out (muscular). Merino is out with a foot injury. Timber wasn’t in the Atletico squad and looks unlikely. Saka and Eze came off the bench in Madrid, with Calafiori back in contention.
Predicted Lineup: Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Rice, Norgaard; Saka, Odegaard, Trossard; Gyokeres.
Fulham
Fulham have been a slippery customer at the Emirates over the years and they arrive in decent nick. Unbeaten in four of their last five league matches, Saturday’s tidy 1-0 home win over Aston Villa consolidated 10th place and kept faint hopes of European qualification alive.
Harry Wilson is their main attacking outlet and has caused Arsenal problems before, with three efforts in the reverse fixture (all off target). Raul Jimenez offers a physical reference point. Their record against the top six is patchy, including a 3-0 thumping at Man City in February.
That said, Fulham have a knack for frustrating Arsenal. Last season they took a point at Craven Cottage and lost only 2-1 at the Emirates. I expect a low block with counters through Wilson.
Team News: Kevin, Tete and Iwobi are all out injured. Smith Rowe is first choice in the No 10 role.
Predicted Lineup: Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Sessegnon; Berge, Lukic; Bobb, Smith Rowe, Wilson; Jimenez.
Arsenal vs Fulham Stats and Trends
- Arsenal have never lost a top-flight home league match against Fulham (W24 D7 from 32 meetings).
- Arsenal hold the all-time Premier League record for most goals from corners in a season (17 and counting).
- Fulham have failed to score in five of their last seven Premier League away matches.
- Eberechi Eze has scored more goals from outside the box than any other player in the Premier League since 2022/23.
- Arsenal have the best defensive record in the league.
Arsenal vs Fulham Prediction
I’m backing Arsenal here, but I’m not buying the procession narrative. They’ve been grinding out 1-0 wins lately rather than blowing teams away, and Tuesday’s second leg with Atletico is squarely on Arteta’s mind. A reshuffled side at half-pace can still beat this Fulham at the Emirates, but the margin won’t be five.
Fulham are more dangerous than 10th suggests, particularly when sitting deep and counter-attacking. Wilson’s pace is a problem on the break and Jimenez can pin a centre-half. They won’t pile forward, but they don’t need to.
So I’m leaning hard towards a low-scoring Arsenal win. The Under 2.5 looks tempting and Arsenal -1.5 at longer odds is also a thought, but I think there’s a sharper play available. Anyone using live betting sites in NZ might want to wait and see how the lineup shakes out.

Arsenal vs Fulham - The Ultimate Bet
Arsenal Win to Nil @ $2.40
This is where Fulham’s away record bites them. They’ve failed to score in five of their last seven Premier League away matches and didn’t manage a shot on target the last time these two met. That grabs me. Even rotated, Arsenal’s first-choice back four plus Raya are the best defensive unit in the country.
I also like the structural angle. Silva’s away setup is conservative, with low possession and not much risk-taking. At $2.40 on the best legal sports betting sites in New Zealand, I’m taking Arsenal to win without conceding.
