Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal Prediction: Betting Tips & Odds

Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal Prediction
Nottingham Forest host Arsenal in the Premier League at the City Ground on Monday morning NZT, and I’m with the market in making the visitors clear favourites.
Kickoff is 4:30am, and the two league records don’t quite add up. Forest are 15th and haven’t scored a home league goal all season. Arsenal are second, three points off Manchester City, but they’ve had to come from a goal down and rely on their bench to get there.
Most of this Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal preview comes down to that Forest home record, and so does my $3.25 bet.
If you’re after football expert tips for this round, that’s where I’d start.
Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal Analysis
Nottingham Forest
Morgan Gibbs-White has created 17 chances this season, a team high, and Forest have only five league goals to their name.
Liam Delap is part of that. He’s had 14 league shots for one goal, which came in the 2-1 win at Aston Villa.
Their 3-4-2-1 gives them two wing-backs in Neco Williams and Daniel Munoz who both like to get forward, and that’s the route I think Forest will use to get at Arsenal.
Palace on 11 October was more of the same. Dan Ndoye scored inside three minutes at Selhurst Park, and Walter Benitez later denied Delap from point-blank range shortly after Gibbs-White rattled the bar. Palace then scored three without reply.
Matz Sels hasn’t had much protection either. Jorgen Strand Larsen forced two saves out of him inside the first 10 minutes of that game.
Away from home they’ve looked a decent side, with a 2-2 at Liverpool in there too. I’m not sure why the City Ground has been so different.
Ndoye is quick enough to trouble Arsenal’s full-backs early, so I’d hold off on any in-play Arsenal bet on live betting sites until the first 15 minutes are done.
Team News: Milenkovic (knee) and Jesus (calf) are out. Savona is also sidelined.
Predicted Lineup: Sels; Murillo, Diomande, Aina; Munoz, Schlager, McAtee, Williams; Ndoye, Gibbs-White; Delap.
Arsenal
Arsenal’s bench won them the Lille game.
Bukayo Saka came off it to score six minutes later on 13 October, with a fellow substitute setting him up for the third goal of a 3-0 win.
First halves have been their problem. They had one shot on target before the break against Leeds on 10 October, and Leeds led 1-0 until Riccardo Calafiori and Bruno Guimaraes turned it around. Calafiori was left unmarked to finish that equaliser past James Trafford.
Brighton is the one real blot, a 3-0 loss on 19 September. Arsenal have won every other league game.
Their defence has held up well despite the absences. Lille didn’t manage a single shot on target against a rotated Arsenal side.
Team News: Saliba, Tzolis and Mosquera are out. Zubimendi, Hincapie, Konsa, Havertz and White are doubts.
Predicted Lineup: Raya; Timber, Gabriel, Calafiori, Lewis-Skelly; Rice, Guimaraes; Saka, Odegaard, Madueke; Gyokeres.

Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal Prediction
Only a Forest goal would change my view here.
They’ve got the players to nick one on the break, and if it’s 0-0 heading into the second half, the home crowd will start to believe. I haven’t forgotten Brighton either.
I don’t think it comes, though. Forest’s issue at home is finishing, and Gabriel has looked solid even with a shuffled back line around him. Arsenal also couldn’t break them down here in January, so I’m not expecting a flood of goals.
1-0 Arsenal is the score I’ve written down, with 2-0 next. A draw is the result I’d fear most.
If you want a side bet, Saka to score anytime appeals. He’s got four goals this season and looked sharp against Lille.

Arsenal to Win & Under 2.5 Goals @ $3.25
The danger is an Arsenal hammering, and they’ve got the attack for it.
I’m willing to take that on. Forest’s three home league games have produced two goals between both sides, and Arsenal’s away wins at Aston Villa and Sunderland finished 1-0 and 2-0.
Brighton is the only away ground where they’ve conceded in the league this season. Their 2-1 win over Leeds would have beaten this bet, though, so I’m not pretending it’s a sure thing.
