Football Multi Bet

Monday morning NZT has a full card of international friendlies and I’ve gone through the lot to piece together a football multi bet I like. Two match results and an over 2.5 goals market - combined odds above $11.00. I’ll be upfront: my Norway leg is a tad risky, but you’re not getting this price without it.

Multi Bet Tip

LegsOdds
Norway to beat Morocco$2.25
Greece to beat Italy$2.50
Over 2.5 goals in Croatia vs Slovenia$2.00

Morocco vs Norway

Monday June 8, 7:00am NZT, Sports Illustrated Stadium, Harrison NJ

Norway have been one of the form sides this window, beating Sweden 3-1 and only going down 2-1 to the Netherlands after scoring first in Amsterdam. Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard are both fit, and their attack has averaged over two goals per game across the last five internationals.

Morocco hammered Madagascar 4-0 in their most recent outing and are preparing for a tough World Cup Group C alongside Brazil and Scotland. I rate them - but this one’s being played in Harrison, New Jersey. Neutral turf, not Rabat.

Norway at $2.25 on best betting sites in NZ is where I’m opening this multi. I don’t love how close these two are on paper, but Norway’s momentum and firepower are enough for me.

Greece vs Italy

Monday June 8, 6:45am NZT, Pankritio Stadium, Crete

Italy are in turmoil. They failed to qualify for a third consecutive World Cup after losing their playoff to Bosnia on penalties, and the fallout has been severe - Gennaro Gattuso resigned as manager and FIGC President Gabriele Gravina followed him out the door.

U21 boss Silvio Baldini has taken interim charge for the June friendlies, and his squad is almost entirely made up of youth players. Only Gianluigi Donnarumma and three others have senior caps.

Greece are hosting in Crete and fielding their full senior squad. Even after losing 1-0 to Paraguay in March, they’re a much better bet than an Italian side using this window for development.

At $2.50 through new betting sites, I’m backing the home side to take advantage of what’s effectively a reserve team.

Croatia vs Slovenia

Monday June 8, 6:45am NZT, Stadion Varteks, Varazdin

I’m not going anywhere near the match result here. Croatia lost 0-2 to Belgium at home on June 2 and were beaten 1-3 by Brazil on March 31 - their defence has been vulnerable against anyone with pace and movement.

But their attack hits different - they scored 26 goals in eight World Cup qualifiers and put two past Colombia in March.

Slovenia lost 0-1 to Hungary but managed a 3-2 win over Montenegro in their most recent game. Four of Croatia’s last five fixtures have produced three or more goals, and I expect them to come out firing after the Belgium result.

Over 2.5 at $2.00 is my tip - worth comparing across betting bonuses pages for the best line.
