Brighton vs Everton
Sunday February 1, 4:00am NZDT, Amex Stadium
Brighton are usually a banker at the Amex, and I don’t see that changing this weekend. They’re brilliant at keeping the ball and tiring teams out, and Everton have looked a bit leggy lately after that tough draw with Leeds. I reckon the hosts will have way too much quality in the final third for a fairly restricted Everton defence.
I’m expecting a clinical performance from the home side to get this multi moving on the best betting apps. Everton have struggled to find a win at the new stadium recently, and their away form hasn’t been much better. It’s a home win for me all day.
Wolves vs Bournemouth
Sunday February 1, 4:00am NZDT, Molineux Stadium
This one should be a cracker for anyone up early enough to watch. Wolves are rooted to the bottom of the table and desperate for points, but they’ve actually been scoring fairly regularly at home. Bournemouth are in red-hot form after stunning Liverpool with a late winner last week, so they’ll be full of confidence.
Neither of these teams knows how to sit back and defend a lead. Wolves have been leaking goals for fun, and I’m banking on both teams finding the back of the net in what should be a great game. It’s one of my top football tips for the weekend.
Manchester United vs Fulham
Monday February 2, 3:00am NZDT, Old Trafford
I know this technically kicks off in the early hours of Monday for us in NZ, but it’s the final leg of the Sunday round and I love the value here. Manchester United have found some real consistency lately, especially after that big win over Manchester City. They look solid at the back and much more dangerous on the break.
Fulham are no pushovers and have been sitting pretty in the top half, but Old Trafford is a massive hurdle. I’m backing the hosts to grind out a victory here to wrap up a juicy return on the multi.
