Football Multi Bet: $8.79 Tip for Monday

Football Multi Bet
Monday’s Premier League fixtures all have European context swirling around them, and I think that works in our favour for this football multi bet. Two of the three sides I’m backing are fresh, while their opponents have been on the pitch mid-week in Europe.

Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace
Monday May 4, 1:00am NZT, Vitality Stadium
Bournemouth are unbeaten in 14 Premier League games – the longest active run in the division. Two wins from their last three and a draw against Leeds the other one.
Crystal Palace, meanwhile, played Shakhtar Donetsk in their Conference League semi-final first leg on Thursday night. That’s a quick turnaround for Oliver Glasner, who may have to rotate. Junior Kroupi has scored 11 league goals this season and I’m backing Bournemouth to have too much going forward at the Vitality.
At $1.70 on football betting sites, this is where our multi starts.
Manchester United vs Liverpool
Monday May 4, 2:30am NZT, Old Trafford
This is my riskiest leg. Manchester United and Liverpool is never straightforward, but I’ve gone with United at home for a couple of reasons.
United have collected 36 of their 61 points at Old Trafford this season, and Michael Carrick’s side have won back-to-back league games heading into this one. A win would go a long way toward confirming their Champions League place.
Liverpool have won three in a row but Mohamed Salah is out after tearing his hamstring against Crystal Palace last weekend. Hugo Ekitike is also missing with a calf problem. Without Salah, I don’t think Liverpool will get the result they need away from home.
At $2.35, I think there’s value with the best betting sites in NZ on United.
Aston Villa vs Tottenham
Monday May 4, 6:00am NZT, Villa Park
I’ll be honest – this game falls between Aston Villa’s Europa League semi-final legs against Nottingham Forest, and Unai Emery could rest a few players. But Spurs are in such a bad way that I’m tipping Villa regardless.
Tottenham are 18th with 34 points and their injury list is grim: Xavi Simons, Dejan Kulusevski, Cristian Romero, Mohammed Kudus, Pape Sarr, Guglielmo Vicario, Ben Davies and Wilson Odobert are all confirmed out. Dominic Solanke and Destiny Udogie are doubts after picking up muscle problems against Wolves.
Villa have won all three meetings with Spurs this season – twice in the league and once in the FA Cup. Even with rotation, I’d fancy them at home. You can find $2.20 on betting promotions pages for this one to close out our multi.
