Football Multi Bet: $8.10 Tip for Sunday

Sunday’s Premier League card is almost entirely a battle between the top and bottom of the table, and that’s exactly where I’ve found value for this football multi bet. Brighton’s form against Spurs’ collapse gives us the headliner at $2.50, with two home sides needing points to avoid the drop completing the multi.

Tottenham vs Brighton

Sunday April 19, 4:30am NZT, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

I can’t think of a Premier League side I’d be less willing to back right now than Spurs. Zero wins in 2026 - 14 games without a victory. Roberto De Zerbi took over from Igor Tudor last month and lost 1-0 at Sunderland in his first game, which only deepened what has become a real relegation fight.

Brighton have won four of their last five in all competitions and are ninth on 46 points, still pushing for a European place. My football tips here don’t take much deliberation. I’m backing Brighton at $2.50 and I’d have been tempted at shorter.

Leeds vs Wolves

Sunday April 19, 2:00am NZT, Elland Road

Wolves are 20th on 17 points and Opta gives them a 100% probability of relegation. Leeds won 2-1 at Old Trafford in their last outing - a result that opened a six-point gap on the drop zone. Daniel Farke has the benefit of a settled squad for a change, with only Daniel James confirmed out.

I’ve checked NZ betting sites and Leeds are $1.62 at home. It’s the shortest leg in the multi, but Wolves have three wins all season and could have relegation confirmed this weekend. I don’t see an upset here.

Newcastle vs Bournemouth

Sunday April 19, 2:00am NZT, St James’ Park

I want to be upfront - this is the riskiest leg. Bruno Guimaraes is a doubt after contracting mumps on international duty, and Fabian Schar is out for around a month following foot surgery. Eddie Howe does at least have Sandro Tonali, Lewis Miley and Joelinton available after all three started the 2-1 loss at Crystal Palace last weekend.

Bournemouth arrive off the back of five consecutive Premier League draws before beating Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates. That Arsenal result was impressive, but a side that went five games without finding a winner is one I’m willing to bet against at St James’ Park. Justin Kluivert is out injured and Andoni Iraola has confirmed he’s leaving at season’s end - motivation could be a factor for the visitors.

$2.00 on new betting sites for Newcastle feels right.
