Football Multi Bet: $6.60 Tip for Thursday

Football Multi Bet
Only two Premier League games on Thursday morning NZT, so I’ve pulled two tips from the Bournemouth match and one from the Burnley vs Man City game to piece together this football multi bet. It’s not the biggest return I’ve ever put forward - $6.60 - but there’s a logic to every leg and I’m not going to force value that isn’t there.

Bournemouth vs Leeds
Thursday April 23, 7:00am NZT, Vitality Stadium
I like Bournemouth here quite a lot. They’re 13 Premier League games unbeaten, and this isn’t a side grinding out goalless draws to pad that record - they’ve won at Arsenal and at Newcastle in their last two outings. Both times they scored first, got pegged back, and found another gear to win 2-1. Junior Kroupi and Alex Scott have been clinical lately.
Leeds have won their last two league games, including that 2-1 at Old Trafford. But they’ve got an FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea next weekend, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Daniel Farke rests a couple of bodies with that in mind.
Leeds have won twice on the road all year. Bournemouth at $2.05 is the pick I feel best about in this multi, and the first place I’d bet on football this week.
I’m also pairing this with both teams to score at $1.65 on live betting sites as my second leg from this fixture. Bournemouth have managed just one clean sheet at home in their last eight, and Leeds have scored in nine of their last 14. Even with rotation, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor can nick one on the break.
Burnley vs Manchester City
Thursday April 23, 7:00am NZT, Turf Moor
I expect City to run riot. They’ve won their last two league games - 3-0 at Chelsea and 2-1 against Arsenal - scoring five and conceding one. They’re three points behind Arsenal with a game in hand, and every match from here is about the title.
Burnley are 19th with 20 points. They lost 2-0 to Brighton and then Forest put four past them last weekend.
City won 5-1 and 3-1 in their last two meetings with Burnley. A straight City win at $1.17 isn’t worth the space in the multi, but over 3.5 goals at $1.95 on free bets sites works for me.
City may rotate ahead of their FA Cup semi-final, but there’s enough depth in that squad to overwhelm this defence. Erling Haaland scored a brace in the reverse fixture and has 23 league goals this season - I’d be amazed if he doesn’t add to that here.
