One fixture today and it’s a big one. Spain face Belgium in the quarter-finals at SoFi Stadium, and World Cup 2026 odds have the European champions as clear favourites at $1.65. That’s short for a multi on its own, so I’ve been digging into goalscorer and totals markets on football betting sites to find value alongside it.
Belgium put four past the USA in their last outing so they’ll fancy their chances, but Spain haven’t conceded a single goal at this tournament - five matches, five clean sheets. If you’ve got free bets across NZ betting sites or betting apps, I’ve got a three-leg multi paying $8.55 from this single fixture.
Top Picks for World Cup Day 30 | July 11
Spain vs Belgium
Spain to win ($1.65)
Spain are five matches with zero goals conceded this World Cup. Mikel Oyarzabal has four goals from five games and Rodri dictated the entire second half against Portugal before Mikel Merino’s injury-time winner sent them through. Nico Williams is back in training after his adductor injury but hasn’t played since June 26 and was left out against both Austria and Portugal. I wouldn’t count on him starting.
Belgium couldn’t win either of their first two group games and needed extra time to beat Senegal 3-2 in the round of 32. Their 4-1 win over the USA was by far their best performance. Charles De Ketelaere was outstanding, but two of those four goals came from American errors - including a shocking Matt Freese mistake for the third.
Thibaut Courtois wasn’t troubled much by a shaky US backline. Lamine Yamal and Oyarzabal are a very different proposition though. At $1.65 I know it’s short, but Belgium would need to do what no other team at this World Cup has managed - score against Spain.
✓ Long Shot: Belgium to win ($5.50)
✓ Extra Tip: Under 2.5 goals ($1.85)
