England are coming off one of the most painful defeats of the tournament. Anthony Gordon’s 55th-minute opener against Argentina looked like it would be enough. Instead, Enzo Fernandez bent one in from distance in the 85th and Lautaro Martinez headed home in the 90+1. 

Picking yourself up from that inside three days won’t be easy, and France have an extra day’s rest after playing their semi on Wednesday NZT.
