Final-round group football arrives on 25 June and I’ve gone through all six deciders in Groups A, B and C for the best World Cup 2026 odds. Three of these teams are dead level going into the last 90 minutes, so there’s real value about if you know where to look.
I’ll run through every match with a best bet and the long shots worth a look, then pull three legs into a multi. Most of the sharper football betting sites have the final-round markets up already, and a few NZ betting sites are pushing free bets on the group finales.

Top Picks for World Cup Day 14 | 25 June
Switzerland v Canada
Over 2.5 goals ($1.95)
Both sides are level on four points, with Canada top on goal difference at plus six to Switzerland’s plus three. Canada need only a point to top the group in front of their own crowd, while Switzerland have to win to leapfrog them. Canada put six past Qatar and drew with Bosnia, Switzerland beat Bosnia 4-1, so there’s goals in both these sides.
Here’s the catch: a draw tops the group for Canada, so there’s a chance this match gets cagey and finishes 1-1 or goalless. With Switzerland needing all three points, though, I can’t see them content to shut up shop, and Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David give Canada a counter that travels.
✓ Long Shot: Canada to win to nil ($4.50)
✓ Extra Tip: Both teams to score ($1.95)
Bosnia and Herzegovina v Qatar
Bosnia and Herzegovina to win by 2+ goals ($2.19)
Both are on a single point and a draw sends the pair of them home, so this is a knockout in all but name. Bosnia’s goal difference is minus three against Qatar’s minus six, which means Bosnia probably need a clear win to nick a best-third-place berth, and that suits a handicap play. Qatar shipped six to Canada and have looked soft at the back across both games.
Edin Dzeko, 40 now, still leads the Bosnia line with Ermedin Demirovic for company. Qatar have to come forward, and that leaves the gaps for Bosnia to win this by a couple.
✓ Long Shot: Edin Dzeko to score anytime ($2.50)
✓ Extra Tip: Over 2.5 goals ($1.83)
Scotland v Brazil
Vinicius Junior to score anytime ($2.00)
Brazil top Group C on four points and a draw would do them. Scotland are third on three points and far from safe. Three points is borderline for a best-third place in this 48-team format, and a loss would leave them sweating on results elsewhere.
Brazil are as short as you’d expect in the match odds, so I’d rather get at a price through Vinicius Junior, who scored against Haiti and is their most direct outlet down the left. Andy Robertson will have a long afternoon on that flank.
There’s a hedge worth naming, mind you. Scotland defend deep and Brazil might rest a few with qualification close, so this is no certainty. I still fancy Vini to find one.
✓ Long Shot: Brazil to win to nil ($2.10)
✓ Extra Tip: Under 3.5 goals ($1.50)
Morocco v Haiti
Morocco to win by 2+ goals ($1.59)
Morocco need only a point to advance and will want a fat win for goal difference with top spot still live. Haiti are already out, pointless, no goals across two games and beaten 3-0 by Brazil. Morocco have conceded once all tournament and look the most settled side in this group.
Achraf Hakimi and Ayoub El Kaabi give them the edge going forward against a Haiti defence that’s struggled to lay a glove on better opposition. A two-goal handicap looks the play.
✓ Long Shot: Morocco to win to nil ($1.70)
✓ Extra Tip: Ayoub El Kaabi to score anytime ($2.10)
Czechia v Mexico
Mexico to beat Czechia ($2.00)
Mexico are through already, two wins from two and two clean sheets on home soil. A point tops the group, so evens about the win looks generous even with rotation likely at the Azteca. Czechia have to win to stand any chance, which means coming out and leaving room for Raul Jimenez and Santiago Gimenez on the break.
The risk, and it’s a fair one, is that a draw suits Mexico and they coast through the night. That leaves this off my banker list, but at $2.00 I’ll take the home win.
✓ Long Shot: Mexico to win to nil ($2.40)
✓ Extra Tip: Under 2.5 goals ($1.74)
South Africa v Korea Republic
Korea Republic to beat South Africa ($1.65)
Korea need only a point to go through and South Africa have to win. South Africa managed just one goal in two games and lost 2-0 to Mexico, so the creativity’s been thin. Korea have the better individuals by some way, and Son Heung-min with Lee Kang-in can settle a tight one.
South Africa will throw bodies forward late, which plays into Korea on the counter. I’m not expecting a thriller here, more a controlled Korea afternoon in Monterrey.
✓ Long Shot: Son Heung-min to score anytime ($2.50)
✓ Extra Tip: Under 2.5 goals ($1.78)
