The Trentham card this Sunday is headlined by the Wyndham Cup.

Ahead of this and the first race we have run our eye through the card and picked out some of our best horse racing tips.

BEST BET – Ripa Time

In a race where the form isn’t great, this represents Ripa Time’s best chance to finally get off the mark. Unucky not to shed her maiden tag on her last start at Riverton, the hope is that a return to this distance should see her power clear over of her rivals.

THE DANGER – Angel’s Army

Angel’s Army looks to be the only one who could deny Ripa Time. The best run of her career so far came at this track, and she can give Ripa Time a real race if reproducing that effort here.

VALUE BET – Party Goer

In a race of few options, it could be worth siding with Party Goer who is the only newcomer in the field. He is reasonably bred and won’t have to be overly special to be competitive in this contest.

David Moss – 8.00

Sympathique – 6.50

BEST BET – Linara

With just one in fifteen starts, Linara isn’t the most rock-solid selection we’ve ever made, but he has been running well lately. Coming into this race having posted two consecutive second place finishes, this is easier, and he looks to be one to beat.

THE DANGER – David Moss

David Moss is also a class dropper and comes back to the track after 22 weeks off. A winner two starts ago, there was a feel that he needed a break – now fresh he must be a strong candidate to pick up a fourth win.

VALUE BET – Sympathique

Sympathique could be a player at a price. The most experienced in this field, she is a veteran of the track and is a former winner here. She has placed in three of her last four and should play a big part in the battle for the places.

Sestina – 10.00

Short – 18.00

BEST BET – Vamos

In a wide open contest, it could be worth siding with Vamos. Taking a small drop-in class here, he has a great record around this track with one win and a second-place effort, there are others who can win this, but he should be right up there.

THE DANGER – Sestina

Sestina is another class dropper, and she will hope to be a player at a big price. She is consistent and although she hasn’t won for five starts, she can’t be ignored.

VALUE BET – Short

Short is our long shot bet of the day. A winner of this prep race four starts ago, he has failed to shine since but is taking a step down in class here. He is well respected and could outrun his odds.
