THE DANGER – Moonbeams

Moonbeams could be the danger. Although she is an eight-race maiden, it seems that the penny might have finally dropped as her last two races have been full of plenty of promise. A second and third offer plenty of promise and she could go one place better here.

VALUE BET – Ocean Rules

Whilst those at the top of the market must be respected, they have proven vulnerable in the past and Ocean Rules could well be the one to afraid of. Her fourth-place effort last time out was her best effort to date, and she will look to build on that here. She will be the pace angle, and connections will hope that she will be able to slip the field and post a first win.

BEST BET – Biding My Time

In the sixth race of the day, Biding My Time could be the play. Having finished second in her two starts to date, she returns to the track following a ten-week break. This is a lower class than her previous starts and if she is race ready, she sets the standard.

THE DANGER – Tiantai

Tiantai could be a great alternative. She is another one who is returning after a break, and this will be her first race for four months. She was second before that break and conditions should be right up her street, one for the shortlist.

VALUE BET – Magic Dreams

If the fitness angle of the first two selections is off-putting, then it could be worth siding with Magic Dreams. Having last raced a few weeks ago, she left the form of her debut well behind when she was unlucky not to have won when just missing out at the track. Both runs have come here, and she has to be a danger at a decent price.

In the penultimate race of the day, She’s Untouchable will be popular in the betting. Having raced at a higher level than this for most of her career, including in graded company, connections will be hoping that a return to this level of class will see her land just a second career victory. She looks to have a great chance.

THE DANGER – Carsolio

Carsolio looks to be a real danger to all in this field and could give She’s Untouchable something to think about. Representing top class connections, he has finished as a runner up in each of his last two starts. He has the class, but the ground could be a concern.

VALUE BET – Nedelin

Nedelin is our long shot of the day, and he makes plenty of appeal. A winner last time out he is taking back to the track for the first time in five months, but his last run was impressive. There are fitness concerns but if he is fit and ready he is hard to ignore.
