Grizzlies vs Trail Blazers Prediction, Odds & Betting Tips – NBA 30 October

Quick Pick
- Our pick: Trail Blazers -3.5 Line @ $1.90 (Betovo)
- Prediction: Trail Blazers to win, 121-113
- Confidence: 3/5
- Tip-off: Friday 30 October, 3:00pm NZT
- Arena: Moda Center, Portland
The unbeaten Memphis Grizzlies visit the unbeaten Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center, with tip-off at 3:00pm NZT on Friday 30 October.
Ja Morant faces Memphis for the first time since they traded him to Portland in June. I didn’t expect either side to be perfect after a week, least of all a Grizzlies team that won 25 games last season. Memphis are 4-0 for only the second time in franchise history.

Grizzlies vs Trail Blazers Analysis
Memphis Grizzlies
Last 5: W-W-W-W-L · Record: 4-0 · ATS (2025-26): 36-46
Few NBA betting tips had Memphis at 4-0 to start the season - I certainly didn’t. Ty Jerome is the main reason they’ve got to such a flyer, with the 29-year-old averaging 29.8 points and opened with 45 against Utah, a franchise opening-night record. Jerome handles the ball, and they like to push the pace, with 23 fast-break points in the opener.
But I’m a bit worried about fatigue in this game. This is their fourth straight road game, and Jerome went 4-for-15 in Salt Lake City on Tuesday. Jerami Grant, from the Morant trade, scored 13.
Portland Trail Blazers
Last 5: W-W-W-L-L · Record: 3-0 · ATS (2025-26): 45-37
Portland are scoring 129.3 points a game, and the Morant and Damian Lillard backcourt has clicked faster than I expected. Morant scored 23 on 9-for-13 shooting in Wednesday’s 136-129 win over the Lakers.
Memphis have the edge on the glass, though. They outrebounded Utah 55-38 in the opener, so Donovan Clingan and Robert Williams III will be busy. Portland have only had one day off, but this is their first home game since they thumped Phoenix 124-83.

(1) Sharpe is recovering from a torn meniscus and was ruled out for six months in late August.
(2) Henderson is listed as questionable with soreness in his left ankle.
(3) Carlson is in the league’s concussion protocol.
(4) Youngblood is on a two-way contract and is out on G League assignment.
(5) Kent is on a two-way contract and is out on G League assignment.
(6) Tonje is on a two-way contract and is out on G League assignment.
Henderson is the one to check on game day, but Memphis have no one listed and Portland scored 136 without Sharpe last time out, so I’m not changing my pick.

Grizzlies vs Trail Blazers Prediction
I’m backing Portland again. I tipped them for Wednesday’s game against the Lakers, and they won by seven.
Memphis deserve credit, but two of their four wins came against Utah, and they needed a late comeback at Golden State. The home crowd will be loud for Morant, and he and Lillard give Portland two late-game creators. Memphis can’t match that when Jerome has an off night.
If Jerome finds his opening-night touch, I could look silly. I’d also take the Over 231.5 with Portland scoring this freely. Of the games I’ve looked at this week, this one is near the top of my NBA best bets.
My prediction: Trail Blazers 121-113.
Grizzlies vs Trail Blazers – The Ultimate Bet
Trail Blazers -3.5 Line – $1.90
Portland need to win by four or more, and I think they’ll do it with a bit to spare.
Their three wins have come by an average of 18.7 points, and their backcourt gives them more ways to score late than Memphis have.
You can back Trail Blazers -3.5 at $1.90 with Betovo. If you’re checking prices across the best betting sites NZ has to offer, this line looks fair.
