Canberra Raiders vs Dolphins
May 21st, 21:50, GIO Stadium
Both the Raiders and Dolphins have been impacted by Origin, but I still think a lot of points will be scored in this one, especially if it’s a dry track. Even without their Origin stars, both teams have attacking flair, and in the last two games, both teams have piled on the points.
In the last game, a whopping 86 points were scored, and in the game before that, 68 points were scored. The Raiders should have fresh legs as well, after their bye last round. The Dolphins seem to be building nicely, and they have won three games in a row now.
Take the overs on total points (+46.5) @ NZ$1.61.
Manly Sea Eagles vs Gold Coast Titans
May 23rd, 21:35, 4 Pines Park
Next up, we have the Sea Eagles and Titans, who look to be two teams going in different directions. The Sea Eagles have won four of their last five games, with the only loss being to the top-of-the-table Panthers, and by only two at that. So, they come into this clash with a stack of confidence.
The Titans, on the other hand, have lost their last four games in a row and have to travel to 4 Pines Park for this game. Both the Sea Eagles and Titans will have players missing for this one due to Origin. With the way these two teams have been playing as of late, the Sea Eagles should cover the spread.
Take the Sea Eagles to cover the spread (-10.5) @ NZ$1.70.
North Queensland Cowboys vs South Sydney Rabbitohs
May 24th, 18:05, Queensland Country Bank Stadium
Wrapping things up in North Queensland, and I think the home team can get the job done over the Rabbitohs. Neither team has been super consistent so far this season, and they will be missing some key players for this game. I think it’ll impact the Rabbitohs more.
They’ll be without the likes of Latrell Mitchell, Campbell Graham, and Cameron Murray. The Cowboys will be without Reuben Cotter and Braidon Burns. We really can get anything with these two teams, but I do have to give the edge to the Cowboys, who seem to have more players intact.
Take the Cowboys to win @ NZ$1.72.
