Manly Sea Eagles vs South Sydney Rabbitohs

  • Manly Warringah Sea Eagles NRL
  • South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL

June 4th, 21:50, 4 Pines Park

The first game of Round 14 sees the fifth-placed Sea Eagles take on the sixth-placed Rabbitohs. The Sea Eagles suffered their first defeat in three games, going down to the Sharks last time out. Meanwhile, the Rabbitohs haven’t been going much better, winning just one of their last four.

With the Sea Eagles playing at home, and the likes of Haumole Olakau'atu set to make his return for Manly, I have to side with the home side. Also, it’s been reported that we won’t see Latrell Mitchell until Round 17. The Sea Eagles and Rabbitohs only played each other once last season, and the Sea Eagles got the win.

Take the Sea Eagles to win @ NZ$1.54.

North Queensland Cowboys vs Dolphins

  • North Queensland Cowboys NRL
  • The Dolphins

June 6th, 19:30, Queensland Country Bank Stadium

In this all-Queensland affair, we see the Cowboys welcome the Dolphins to Queensland Country Bank Stadium. The Cowboys will be happy to be back at home after going down to the Sharks on the road last time out. The Dolphins had their bye last round, so they should be well-rested.

The Dolphins are currently riding a four-game winning streak and are sitting just inside the top eight (with the Cowboys just outside, in ninth spot). So, this one shapes up as a key match-up. The Dolphins are on fire at the moment. They should have fresh legs, and they won the two most recent meetings against the Cowboys.

Take the Dolphins to win @ NZ$1.58.

Wests Tigers vs Penrith Panthers

  • Wests Tigers NRL
  • Penrith Panthers NRL

June 7th, 16:00, CommBank Stadium

Wrapping up my three-leg multi with the Tigers and Panthers. There should be a lot of feeling in this one with the likes of Apisai Koroisau and Jarome Luai, both former Panthers players. The Tigers got a couple of their stars back last round, and it resulted in a much-needed win.

The Panthers took on the second-placed Warriors without their Origin stars last time out and managed to come away with the win as well. The ladder leading Panthers team does look too strong for the Tigers, but they have some key players back, and they’ll play with a lot of heart as well.

Take the Tigers +12.5 to win @ NZ$1.90.
