Sydney Roosters vs Melbourne Storm

  • Sydney Roosters NRL
  • Melbourne Storm NRL

July 17th, 22:00, Allianz Stadium

For the first leg of my multi, I’m looking at the Roosters and Storm game. The Roosters are flying high in third spot on the ladder, while the Storm are on the fringes of making the top eight, sitting in 10th spot. Massive news coming out of the Storm camp, with Cameron Munster out for multiple weeks, and he requires knee surgery as well.

For the Roosters, we will see both James Tedesco and Lindsay Collins out for this game. Both teams have certainly been more consistent as of late. I just think missing Cameron Munster will be too big a hurdle for the Storm to get over, especially against a team as star-studded as the Roosters.

Take the Roosters to win @ NZ$1.23.

Canterbury Bulldogs vs Wests Tigers

  • Canterbury Bulldogs NRL
  • Wests Tigers NRL

July 18th, 21:35, Accor Stadium

The Bulldogs had their three-game winning streak broken last time out, thanks to the Raiders. But they are certainly the more consistent team compared to the Tigers, who are now in freefall. The Tigers have now lost their last four games in a row, and most by a large margin.

Both Viliame Kikau and Stephen Crichton have been named in the extended reserves, so they could pop up there for this clash. Meanwhile, we see Api Koroisau still out for the Tigers, and we know just how big an influence he has over things. There’s so much off-field drama plaguing the Tigers that I think that will distract them on the field.

Take the Bulldogs to win @ NZ$1.58.

Gold Coast Titans vs Manly Sea Eagles

  • Gold Coast Titans NRL
  • Manly Warringah Sea Eagles NRL

July 19th, 16:00, Cbus Super Stadium

Last, but certainly not least, we have the Titans up against the Sea Eagles. Both teams have won just two of their last five games, and this has pushed the Sea Eagles outside the top eight for the first time in a while. The Titans have always been near the bottom of the ladder, and they’re currently holding the second-to-last spot.

Out of the two teams, the Sea Eagles look more structured and capable of getting the win, even on the road. These two teams played each other back in Round 12, and it was the Sea Eagles that got a narrow 12-10 win. Even without the likes of Ben Trbojevic, Clayton Faulalo, and Corey Waddell, the Sea Eagles should prove too good.

Take the Sea Eagles to win @ NZ$1.61.
