Football Multi Bet: $10.03 Tip for Sunday

There are plenty of Premier League fixtures on Sunday morning NZT, and I’ve found three I’m confident about for this football multi bet. Two away sides with legitimate motivation and a title-chasing Man City needing to cover the handicap at home - combined, we’re looking at just over $10.

Sunderland vs Manchester United

Sunday May 10, 2:00am NZT, Stadium of Light

Manchester United have won three on the bounce and confirmed their Champions League return with that 3-2 over Liverpool last weekend. Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko scored inside 15 minutes in that one, and Kobbie Mainoo won it with a first-time finish on 77 minutes.

Sunderland haven’t won in three and their record against top-four sides this season is dire - they’ve failed to win any of their last 28 against opponents starting the day that high up. Dan Ballard’s red card against Wolves means they’re without their first-choice centre-back too.

I’d be more cautious if Sesko were ruled out, but Amad came on at half-time against Liverpool and didn’t miss a beat. Plus Lisandro Martinez returns from suspension. At $1.90, Man Utd to win is a good starting point on new betting sites for this multi.

Fulham vs Bournemouth

Sunday May 10, 2:00am NZT, Craven Cottage

This is my favourite leg. Bournemouth are unbeaten in 15 Premier League games and have won their last two against Fulham - 3-1 at home in October and 1-0 before that. Eli Junior Kroupi has 12 league goals, four of those coming in his last five appearances. He’s 19 and doesn’t seem to care about pressure.

Fulham were hammered 3-0 by Arsenal last weekend after a sickness bug ripped through their squad. Alex Iwobi is still out, and even at full strength they’ve struggled to score recently - one goal in their last three before that Arsenal game.

Bournemouth are chasing a Champions League spot and will treat this as a cup final. I’m comfortable backing them at $2.40 on bet on football markets.

Manchester City vs Brentford

Sunday May 10, 4:30am NZT, Etihad Stadium

Man City are five points off Arsenal with a game in hand, so anything other than a comfortable win here and the title’s gone. They drew 3-3 at Everton in midweek - Jeremy Doku scored twice - but I’m not reading too much into that.

City have lost once at the Etihad in the league all season and have led at half-time in 12 of 16 home games.

Brentford won just one of their last eight before putting three past West Ham, and that looks more like a blip than a revival. Igor Thiago’s 22 goals will test City’s depleted backline, but Erling Haaland has 37 in all competitions and I’m tipping a two-goal margin. You’ll find free bets worth claiming before kickoff on this one.
